mmm seafood...
I am thinking about our Christmas menu too... we'll be sharing our day with a vegetarian and cooking outdoors with minimal facilities and no fridge so it should be quite an adventure... I am thinking salad sandwiches might be nice!

We have a zoo pass - it's the only place we go cause we can't afford even our two adults and two kids (M goes free still) for most places! How sad... but I've always wondered if the 1.6 or whatever children is still the average these days. I know a heck of a lot of people with three kids!

oooh I'd cry if there was no more vegemite... I LOVE the stuff! I'd be looking on the black market and paying huge prices for it if I had to! I only wish that it was still Aus owned

I wonder if a a fancy branded detergent will work as well as the super cheap lectric soda we currently use... I'm up for the challenge... We wash in cold so put me down for the fancy cold one!!! :)

Oh I just checked out their website and am drooling over the cards.... I love the deisgns on the cards and that they are printed with enviro friednly paper and ink etc... but I also love their actual website... nice and clean and clear and easy to navigate.

I found your blog via entrecard! I have four year old twins and a 6 month oldâ€¦ what makes parenting easier for me?

Breastfeeding.
Itâ€™s not always been easy and with my twins it was a huge battle but worth every second of pain and trouble to be able to provide my children with the best in nutrition but also for the emotional benefits for both my children and me. Plus once you have the hang of it, it is easy - no bottles, no measuring, just instant, perfect food anywhere any time.

Simple Love.
You canâ€™t love your baby too much so take the time to do enjoy it. Spend time with them, love them with respect and try not to worry about what any books or anyone else saysâ€¦ if you start from a place of love you canâ€™t go wrong!

I also love my hotsling and Bec Baby carrier so so soooooooo much!

Does it really work?
We are fighting the 'bunny dust' (as my girls call it) in our house because of allergies and was almost suckered in to buying one of these things on late night TV infomercials... but $50 for a duster... seriously?

Fabulous post!

It's really hit the nail on the head for me.. choosing to stay at home, spend less and do more from scratch is not about being a poor lowly housewife it is about having and learning the skills to look after myself and my family and it makes me feel surprisingly proud to even try!

I'm a digi scrapper so It'd be a toss up between a coffee table book of some of my LOs or maybe calendars as Christmas gifts - I've done calendars before which were a great hit but I printed and bound them myself which nearly killed me, this would be so much better!
