in Tonight is HISTORICAL, yet trivialized by media on Bang the Drum
I am fascinated to read this interpretation of tonight's events. I completely agree with you that his campaign has been historic, and has many many energized supporters who do him and the country proud, and he achieved a delegate lead today, albeit before the voters of MT and SD had their say.
However, the media have been (falsely) saying Hillary is oh-you-tee OUT since Iowa, banging the drum all day today for Barack as the Super Delegate endorsements came in, and at the same time talking about what's next for her. Why would they stop now - Clinton psychoanalysis and speculation has been their bread and butter. They just can't help themselves, but I really don't see how that is Clinton's fault.
More importantly, the nomination isn't finalized until August, and our common victory will be all the sweeter when it is actually real.

The media has been insane all day. I wish they would have backed off and given her some space and respectan whether or not I think it was deserved. All day I said she was being pushed to the wall, but they weren't listening. ;-)

in Bill on Shakesville
I couldn't believe the bias myself, so I checked on his other articles. Purdum wrote quite a glowing piece on Obama back in March - the two could really be bookends as far as how the campaign coverage has gone.
