Thanks for that info John. I knew you were using a plugin, and I even checked on a plugin in JCADS - since thats what the link shows when I made purchases from your blog. I later realized that it is just your initials with ads in it.
I will definitely be using that. A lot easier than Openads, which I am currently using.

There is an easier solution. Check this website, www.dofollo.com - it finds you all the no-follow blogs in the niche keyword you specify. No need to download, no need for a key. Sorry John, don't mean to trample on your territory.

Ok, tried that site. Not too happy with it. Have you tried logging back on??? That is a joke! It asks me what the secret question was during registration... haha! Two months later, I am really gonna remember what that was? Also, a simple email verification should solve the approval process to get going. There are many other flaws in that site, and I can keep going....

I forgot to mention in that last comment, yes, I did try the "Find My Question" but it still kept saying "Invalid Answer" or something similar. You should really tweak the signup and login process. Also, one feature that you really need to incorporate is when you hover over the avatars, would be nice to be able to see the url of the avatar or a little bio in a snap type cloud. That will probably help us visit the blogs that we want to visit.

I think that the blogrush widgets would be more effective if they not so "in your face" and were just a simple, like adsense. They would increase the CTR by making it look just like text links.

These sites will not survive on their own. You have to be a whiz at SEO, use extreme marketing or use PPC. I guess that can be said about any site that you start. Getting to that $2 mark on a site is tough, and even harder for $2 on each site per day.

@Pat - I was one of the suckers that bought into the MDW craze, so I pretty much have an idea how "awesome" it is for a webmaster. It would take 1 ban from Myspace or Facebook on your profile, and your entire business model is kapoot!

@Pat :lol: You really aren't putting yourself in "Scoble" league now are you? Totally a different ballgame. Scoble's blog is an accomplished, famous and considered a top blog. There are plenty of people that get banned on facebook and I think our good ol' Johncow got banned, don't think that made any big time news.

I think the value of the blog is based on the blogger itself, and not the name of the blog. Therefore, if some Joe Blow that buys JohnCow.com may not have the same following, and readership, since most visitors visiting and commenting on the site are here to for JohnCow.
Notice the drop in Alexa Traffic when you had guest posts while vacationing.
You can add my 2 cents to Simons. :lol:
