True, and even when played at a normal speed it is damn ordinary version of Bumblebee. Technically very impressive. Musically, not so much.

I am loving it. I think Broken Bones has become my favourite track on the album, but then again, Head in My Hands is awesome too. I'll be going to see them very shortly for the second time and I can't wait.

Yeah.. it's a bit weird at the moment. I have a personal project (the one I'm hinting at) that will need constant suggestions from people like yourself, and I have a community project that needs my personal attention... it's a topsy turvy kinda world atm.

For sure. I'm not jumping in and just playing through. I'm going to plan this out properly so I have a definite path to follow. With out the plan I'd just be spinning my wheels, sometimes it is a drag to be so busy. I have full time work, a business getting off the fround, plus trying to get back in shape al to contend with too.

MusiciansRoad is still under quite some heavy construction so any criticism is appreciated. I had a plan for that front page layout that is not quite happening so I will make is a bit simpler for the time being. You are dead on, way to busy.

Don't worry, this site will still be alive and kicking. Hopefully you'll get the guitar skills and tidbits from this site, and the business side of things through the other.

BTW... I'm adding your blog to my list of reads. We share the same fixation in naming our guitars. I too, own a "Blackie".

Hi Jason, thanks for stopping by. I don't think anyone here is saying they are bad products. i think the people who have responded so far just can't "learn" that way, just as I'm sure there are just as many people out there who do learn better that way. Everyone's learning styles are different.

And just so you know, I have a Gary Moore DVD from another company that is note for note, and I personally found it useless. That was the inspriation for the post. I'm sure other people would have found it invaluable. Just not me.

Hi Michael, you are right. The stuff on that is exactly how I like to learn. Are you a member at all. It looks like they have a limited selection there, or is there more to choose from when you sign up.

If they have the know how they have a chance of starting a pretty cool little community there of people showing off their own axes. But yeah, it definitely needs a facelift.

But would you play one? Most guitarist I know wouldn't because the are, well for lack of a better term, "girly". But I don't car I think they are fantastic.

I have an absolute love / hate thing going on at the moment. I love the guitars, but I hate the company. I love how they are trying to embrace new technologies, but I hate how they are marketing and implementing them ie: the Robot series.

I am a Guitar Hero fan in a big way. I'm in the middle of writing a piece on why guitarists should play the game. It may help you see the MANY benefits of this game for guitarists.

Yeah, I gotta sit down with Rosco and show him how all these things work, but hopefully some of the work load will be shared. We got some other MAJOR projects happening so they'll be easier to get down now as well.

I don't doubt their quality, but I'd rather hear them first to see if I really have a need for them.
