I'm in SKM's situation. And I notice that this proposal doesn't say that they will put those of us with HIPAA insurance in the same pool as everyone else. Which means that HIPAA insurance can both remain super expensive and continue not to offer any real coverage.

I had this argument with my husband already a couple of weeks ago. There aren't all that many occasions when he just plain doesn't get the feminist viewpoint, but I'm afraid this is one of them. Which worries me, as it may be evidence of a much more widespread blind spot.
