Both companies are in the AOL family.

Re: Sometrics Launches Analytics for App Developers

Nick,

Thanks for the article.

We are excited to give developers the tools to better understand their audience and grow their social apps!

Today, we launched support for Ruby on Rails and a new PHP tracer code that is much easier to deploy.

Total time to install the Sometrics social analytics solution should only be 2-3 minutes. Plus we are available in our support room to help answer any questions.

Over the next 2-4 weeks Sometrics will be launching many new features. Our goal is to help developers grow user adoption/engagement with better insights into app virality, demographics, and traffic.

In addition, we have a couple exciting announcements to make at the March 25th Snap Summit in San Francisco.

Check us out:
http://apps.facebook.com/sometrics

Live Help:
https://sometrics.campfirenow.com/f51d6

We aim to support the growing developer community.

Thanks!
Ian

Ian Swanson
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=500223154

Re: AllFacebook 1 Year Anniversary

Congrats Nick! It is a very big accomplishment.

See you at GSP East.

Re: Breaking: Facebook Releases New Design

The new home page is much better suited for advertising.

1) Facebook can now include the popular 300×250 ad unit… Before this FB could only use the odd 120×600.

2) FB’s ad strategy are ads within the news feed. The wider and more focused view on the news feed should help their inline advertising campaigns.

(who is FB’s competition in advertising that everyone except FB is overlooking? FriendFeed)

Overall impression - Congrats, the new home page is a much better design for the Facebook advertising team. We should see revenues jump considerably.

Re: Entrepreneur Lunch at the MailRoom Fund

Andrew -

Looks like a great crowd showed up! Sorry I missed it.

One Question: How did you manage to take so many photos and not get one of the host (Richard)? haha

Hope to see you at an LA Tech event soon!

Ian
