in Try to see the beauty in things on Letter Never Sent
Good Post. I wholeheartly agree. Most of us are dragging around enough junk to sink a big boat. Let it go, already. The fears we have at night often disapate with the dawn and we see better the road toward victory. Keep on keeping on. Or to quote Churchill, "Never, never, never give up."

Alice and I are pleased you are bringing Dad home. What a wonderful day that must be. I have no doubt you will be able to handle it with Dad's
helpful directions.

Dear Chris, Two deep subjects, with really no way to know the absolute truth. I know you have grown as your father has improved. Alice and I will keep your father and your family in our prayers. Keep us informed.

Chris, What an interesting post! I like this kind of thinking, even though I am not equiped to write it....I can think it. This very morning Alice and I were walking this same street, trying to see how much further it may go. Perhaps we need a GPS to show us the way. What is scary is that some populations, all kinds, expand untill they die. Mayby we will come back as mosses or lichens, or both.
Keep up the good work.

in Sickness is a teacher | Letter Never Sent on Letter Never Sent
Hey Chris, sorry you had such a tough time. Notice how time kinda stands still at times of sickness, then speeds up for no reason? And we tend to float about this high above our world and can't move, or can't find our way home, or find our clothes? The bugs have been messing with our minds.
Glad you are better.....Hollis

Thank you Chris for enlighting me on the hassel of tickets. I got one in San Antonio...court date, 7:30 some night weeks later. I figured $192.00 was cheaper than a drive to San Antonio, then a motel, then a drive home. I paid it. Now I watch for those hidden speed limit signs.

Great post Chris! That is an insightful observation. One could spend years developing that thought into a doctoral dissertation. Go for the Gold Chris. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Chris, we here in Liberty have had an abundance of rain also.
We have a few acres and can't even walk around on any of them without sinking into the mud. Come on August......

Chris, this is a most interesting blog. We are pleased you have begun searching nature in her own liar. Alice and I live in the country on 12 acres. It has open space but mostly covered with cedar and oak. A delightful place for many birds. We keep our bird feeders full and they attract many kinds of birds. Our son, Greg, lives on the next acres and feeds the birds. He brags about having a often visitor at his feeders... a painted bunting. We haven't seen one here this year, but they must be the most beautiful bird in this area. And thanks for your comments on my words. It is very encourageing. Hollis

Dear Chris, good to hear from you. I have at least once a week checked your blog with no luck. Wow, you have come home! Good to see your smiling face again. I thought I had found you at,
the big sivori but you didn't post often or any there.
I have so many questions about posting, and managing this thing. I hope we can discuss the world and all that is in it. I trust things are going well for you and the Mrs's. (I know.)
Do come back to Austin and drop in at TM soon.
And thanks for the kind words.
