Once your baby reaches the age of 2 they no longer need the milk fat of 2%. milk. (the bad fat). I would switch her to skim. That would be one way of eliminating some of the not so good stuff. She should be able to get good fats from other things she is eating.

I feel for you, it's so hard to see them sick. We always keep a "bucket" on each floor and now we have them trained to grap that or get into the bathroom. My youngest is actually pretty good at getting into the bathroom quick. Sorry to hear she is still sick. When all mine went to their first year of "school" it seemed like we where at the Dr's office all the time. It gets better.

So happy to see you venturing out to do something like this with your young daughter. I have tried once with my 3, going to my brother's campground and it was alot of fun. (I wish their dad could have come with us). We had the luxury of staying in a really nice camper so I would still love to get them out in a tent and roughing it a bit more. Just enjoying the outdoors and all that is has to offer. Kudos to you.

in NashuaTelegraph.com: Web Notes on The Mother of all BlogsOh how I so enjoyed reading this. Being one of those kids in the neighborhood with you, living diagonally across the street. I do remember the woods behind your house and feeling safe. I want the same for my children and though we live in a nice neighborhood, no one comes out and it's just not the same. Thanks for this little feel good from the past.
