in Reading in the Rain on odd time signatures
To their credit, the United Church of Christ seems to be making inroads with their "open door" policies. I was still floored by the 91% figure quoted above.
I'll check out that book you plugged. If you take a notion, my views on this Christ vs Christianity may be skimmed over here:

Thanks!

in Lane Hartwell: Still wrong on fair use on Mathew's comments
You found one legal expert that agreed with you? Therefore Lane Hartwell is for absolute sure in the wrong?
I ask again (first time on this blog): Why did the Richter Scales half-ass their credits? Why was Billy Joel more worthy of song credit than Lane Hartwell for photo credit? If they didn't have to seek permission to re-use anything, why did they credit some things and not others? And: How hard was it to ask for permission up front? (In-line disclaimer: I have asked for, and received permission to re-use one of Shelley Powers' photos in the past.)
I'll hang up and take my answer off the air.

"I’m working on a Greasemonkey script that will simply omit all comments by Shelley, if anyone is interested."
Yes, because God forbid that you come into contact with opinions that differ from your own.
And really? Considering the sheer volume of what can objectively be called trolling by others on this site, Shelley alone warrants the magic eraser treatment, huh?
While you're at it, make a script to help me keep score. Here's what I have so far:
Dare calls Scoble out on an errant comment about Flickr: Receives mea culpa.
Shelley questions how zooomr got to this point, and how they're going to prevent it in the future: Threatened with the magic eraser treatment.
Can I just say that I've got your "conversation" right here?

in Am I getting “blog fatigue?” on Scobleizer
No one reads more feeds on Google Reader than I do. How do I know that? The Google Reader team told me so. So did Matt Cutts.

In all honesty, not sure what the point of this post was, as your running commentary in the comments area suggests that you already have All the Answers, and apparently wanted to yank it out (see JCWs initial comment) and swing it around a bit. Yee ha. 633 feeds. You go.
Assuming I am graced with the parented Scoble barrage, no, I don't read 633 feeds, and I have zero intention of doing so. And no, I don't agree that cramming as many feeds down your gullet is akin to "conversing" any more than it is to "listening". And I'm only here on this post because I took the bait over at Kent Newsome's site. Shame on me, I know.

Here's my official position on content management: When someone else decides to pay for my web hosting fees, that person/people can dictate my content management decisions.
And uh, excuse me? Can not be removed? This is hardly stone tablet and chisel territory.
