It is a pity. Greats like Smoltz get the idea that they should go somewhere else and make a few more bucks. Age eventually catches up with everybody. and they end up with declining skill and an inflated salary, which leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Maybe Sandy Koufax did it right.

My reason for watching right now is the Dodger rebirth. For the last 20 years I've usually found a reason. If for no other reason than baseball is superior to any other sport.


The No Fun League is boring. Just committee meetings and violence with a few dancing millionaires every once in a while.

Yay! I was about to give up on Zemanta. I was getting frustrated. I hope things get better with this upgrade. Love the idea of Z, but was not liking the implementation.
