I am afraid that the only weapons we have on ship out of those listed is the fire hose and fire monitor!.
I'm going to put a requisition in with corporate and see if we can get a couple of those lightening trucks!

What a coincidence!
I have been doing this for years.
On the last night working on my ship, before I go home, I always try to wait until at least midnight before I have my first meal. This seems to prepare my body to make the transition from working nights (6pm -6am) to my day schedule at home. My "dietary clock" is tricked into thinking that I have only been up since midnight, when the reality is that I have been up since the early afternoon the day before.
Otherwise, I will have had 5 or 6 full meals by the time I make it back to Maine and feel like crap the next few days.
The "fasting" technique DOES WORK at least for me!

I'd be worried to Brian! I'm on the Transocean "legacy" side lol, the master/oim relationship can get "interesting" sometimes.
I have witnessed many colorful exchanges between the two positions over the last couple of years!

Just got my last fire drill out of the way for this hitch! YA!!!!!!!!!
Good article! I'm guilty of being a "great job guy" when I'm debriefing the crew, even when the performance was less than spectacular!
Something I need to work on, I can't be everyone's friend when lives are at stake!
