Everyone that feels they have ever been overcharged should read this and see how the fact that you get email receipts allowed you to catch the problem immidiately and get it resolved before being charged large sums of money.

The reason it only said monday codes was because the wednesday codes where this month only, and you did not recieve todays code because it takes up to a week before you start recieving the text messages and on top of that if you signed up today you probaly did it after the codes had been sent out for the day,they are sent out between 10 and 11 am eastern time if you signed up after that you would not have recieved it.

what do you mean did not work, did it not take the code, or did it take the code and you are seeing the 1 dollar hold that is placed on a card any time a rental is made that will be removed in the next 2 weeks.

yes, there is no limits to the number of cards that can use the promo codes, you just can't use the code more then once per card, Right now I have 3 cards I use for renting.

I usually rent My movies around 6 when i'm on lunch and take them back at the end of the night when I get off work, but for the hell of it I have tested what you are talking about and either last week or the week before it was like 12:28 and it still took it. If I get up there that late I may wait for the midnight switch tonight.

I did the same thing with Highlander the Source, it was at one of the machines were my sister lives so I rented it there and returned it at my local kiosk.

thats the reason redbox only rents the 2d version, because they have no way of supplying the glasses for the 3d, and the high quality 3d tech is called

and to use it you need a tv that supports it, and basically its a box that attaches to hidef 1080p televisions that is synced with special shutter glasses that only allow at any given time one eye to see the screen and at that moment only half the screen grid displays which results in full hd 3d, here is a link to the info that explains it better:

agreed redbox is much better then them in this respect, but I really have no choice redbox is the only local kiosk based system available for me.

yes but if you rented it from nashville and got on a plane are you going to know where if at all there is a redbox where you are going. So I said the orignal comment to make the point that without knowing there is a convienent location to return the movie when you get were your going then why risk getting stuck with a movie you can't return because you didn't think to check to see if there was a redbox were you were going, so it only makes sense to rent from an airport if the redboxes are at all airports you can be going to.

i've done 5 in a row at the same time using alicia's method.

depends on the card, couple of questions,

1. Is it a "gift" card?
2. Is your name printed on the card?
3. Is the card registered to your address?

if your answer to number 1 is yes then it probably wont work, from my experience gift cards don't work but prepaid cards that have your name printed on the card and are registered to your address will.

I haven't looked to see what it was but there is some dolly parton dvd in the local redbox here in north georgia in walmart, but I don't care to read what its about, also I've met her in person when I was a kid when my family went to DOLLYWOOD I was probably about 10 back then.

what is the resolution on your computers moniter, if it is set to low it can cause things to overlap? also do you have the text display setting in internet explorer set high, because that can cause things to overlap? this site always displays perfectly for me, perhaps you should clear your history so this page has to completely reload.

did you get email reciepts? if you did you could have caught that the machine didn't register your return and could have called redbox imediately prior to gettting charged 53 dollars.

have you tried breakroom or dvdonme those work at every kiosk that accepts codes?

I would only rent from an airport if there was a kiosk at the airport I was ariving at also.

you know you do not have to click the link in the email, once you get the email simply exit that webpage and come here, the code is posted on the home page as soon as the email is sent out, so you don't have to click the link in the email you just come to the site normally.

the real question is how you could be so stupid as to not think of just visiting the site normally instead of clicking the link?

they always come for me between 10:03 and 10:40 eastern time, and that is for six months that I have been getting them, so yeah I'd say it would be hard to get them up that early.

if you kept it past 9 pm the day after renting it then you were charged the dollar because the free code only gives you the first day free.

as both a redbox user and a netflix member I have to say it would be useless to try to do something like that the only reason it works for blockbuster is because the stores have a far wider selection of movies then could ever be put in a kiosk.

texting is from redbox not insideredbox.com, and the text tell you how to stop them at the bottom of the text.

regardless of whether you use a code or not there is always a 1 dollar hold placed on the card to verify it is an active and valid card. If you used a code and it accepted it and returned it on time the hold will be removed in 1-2 weeks.
