Bill Gates releases mosquitoes in Long Beach

Speaking at TED Conference in Long Beach, Microsoft founder Bill Gates wanted to make a point about malaria. So he opened a jar of mosquitoes in the Long Beach Convention Center. USA Today has the story here.

This story took place in the PT's own back yard and they failed to cover it.

What is wrong with the people we elect to run our city?
And what is wrong with us that we ever allow any of them to run unopposed?

The difference that I see is that some people are paid to do this (Dave) and risk less than those who might have a reason to hide behind an alias.
Maybe Mr. SoLongDeLong works in the DeLong offices. Maybe he’s a double secret agent gathering information that he wouldn’t be privy to were he to find himself suddenly unemployed! More likely he's wasting company time writing song parodies, but hey, that's important too!

I used to replay the scene in King of New York just to watch Caruso die over and over.
