I think Apple will announe iPhone numbers tommorow during their special event. In the short term I see Apple hitting $120 and hopefully $130-135 by earnings next week. Investors are taking advantage of these oversold conditions. Just my take on what will transpire.

When you compare the iPhone 3G to other cell phones, Apple beats them hands down (even with these issues). I would tather have an iPhome with a few software bugs than any other phone. As for the phisical phone itself, while the iPhone in not perfect, Apple is working hard to address any manufacturing issuses. Producing new ground breaking technology is always going to have some kinks and working through them is a part of the process of developing new technology.

Zach, while you may me frustrated with your petsonal experience, I do not think this is the norm. There are many satisfied iPhone 3G customers and I happen to be one of them.

MRP Zach have you called Apple support and talked to anyone about these issues? I have had numerous software issues (no hardware problems) and have called only to be told to perform restore after restore. No real solutions. I will be visiting the Braintree store early next week and will hopefully get more clarity. I'd be very curious to hear if you have had any feedback from Apple.

in No 3G iPhone at the WWDC ? on Investor in the Wilderness
I think Apple will use the WWDC to introduce the new 3G iPhone, however it will not ship until the end of the month. The WWDC is the perfect place to showcase the new phone along with the 2.0 software that will be released. If you recall, Steve Jobs said the official SDK (non-beta) and the iPhone software version 2.0 will be released by the end of June. I think release of iPhone software version 2.0 will coincide with the release of the 3G phone. One will not be introduced without the other. With that said, I still think there is a high possibility of a sell off in the stock. Apple will need to reveal new features or products that the media did not already anticipate. This will provide support for the stock price and possibly momentum for moving it higher. Jack
