in Will Democrats Kill Your 401k? on Bang the Drum
The market blood-letting is the beginning realization of what an Obama presidency is going to mean to the US economy. Most of those companies will not be around this time next year, and those that are left will have half the employees. But at least there will be fewer rich people and that's really what its all about. Trickle up, baby!

Karoli Oh, bow to gloom and doom. Because the trickle-down economic theory has worked to the benefit of those who have, and to the detriment of those who have not. Top 1% earners today make 1M on average per year as opposed to $330K in 2005. Cry me a frickin' river.

And then consider the possibility that the other 99% will either save or consume with some extra money. All of a sudden that economic outlook isn't quite so bad. Let's just make a bet right here and now. If Obama's elected, I say 4 years will see a turned-around economy and the markets will respond accordingly. You think not. If I'm right, you publicly acknowledge. If you're right, I publicly acknowledge. To the widest audience possible.
Jay Revel in the fact that there will be fewer employers who will have enough capital to hire new employees. Wen your cup is empty, how is there any thing that can possibly trickle up.

in CA: Key Propositions Losing, Voter Confidence Lagging on Bang the Drum
This is excellent news! We can't let them take away our rights to abort, abort, abort! PLEASE make sure to get out the word - especially on partial birth abortions. Those kill-joys even want to take that away from us. Thank God Obama is fighting hard for partial birth abortion.

This is a double win - whenever parental choice and will can be taken out of their hands and placed with the government who knows what is better for the child, we're all better off. This will be another great step forward in severing parental control and influence of the traditional family, and placing all decision making where it belongs - with the government.

woo hoo! We need to come up with a name for this! All the good ones are taken tho -
Mao had "The Great Leap Forward" and Stalin had "The Great Turn" and Hitler had "The Final Solution" and Pol Pot had "Year Zero". At least we've got some good arm bands for the Obama Youth. Richpav on twitter is just the beginning - yessiree "sterilization" for the infidels!

Karoli What an irony. What title have you assigned to the republican infidels in the process of socializing our banking system?

On that redistribution of wealth thing, I refer you to the reports showing that wealth has been redistributed under Bush, tripling the annual net income of the top-earning 1% from 300K to 1M in just a few short years.

Pity their portfolios have dropped. Just think...a minor adjustment in that wealth redistribution model might have saved some homes from foreclosure, protecting their hedge fund investments.

And of course Dubya realized (too late) that some adjustments were in order. Hence, the 2008 gift to all 2007 taxpayers below certain income limits.

But then, for you, it's really not about the facts, is it?

Karoli Lol. If we could only...your cynicism is noted, but there is a time for hope. Especially after the last eight years.

How did a freedom fighter get so jaded?

Really? Go back and read your posts. Do you not realize the vitriolic hate you and your wonderful guest Kate spew. Please pick up a Bible and read the words in red.

"Folks like me trying to incite racial violence"
I had to read that several times to see if you were responding to me. Try reading my post again and tell me where the racism is. If I admit he is the Messiah, then will I not be racist? Are you actually that blinded by your hatred? I truly fear for what will happen when you people gain control. But I've already read Revalations, so I know what happens.

Karoli Please supply me with one concrete example of hate speech in what I wrote. Please note: anger is not hate. Go ahead, I'm waiting.

I agree with you!! I HATE HATE HATE Republicans. I don't know why we have to even listen to their dribble. Unfortunately, with their stupid "pro-life" stance, they continue to breed. I wish they would abort like we do. Especially that evil Sarah Palin. Doesn't that disgust you that she would dare birth that downe child? That is so repulsive. If she was not such a hick, she would have sucked that kid down the drain. Thank God for people like you that understand this.

And this whole Ayers "terrorist' thing. Big f'ing deal. So what he declared war on the US and tried to kill cops, their families and our soldiers. That was 40 years ago. Are we going to hold Dr. Mengele responsible for something that happened 40 years ago? Thats crazy!! Thank you so much for being on this side!

Keep up the good work!!

Karoli Sorry but I don't agree with your tone, and think your comments about her baby - an innocent -i are reprehensible.

I may not agree with her tactics or politics, but could never imagine. Saying what you said.

Wow. Excellent example of the openess and tolerance of the fringe left. I could feel your hatred jump off the screen. Nicely done. Who else should we destroy after we dance on Pallins corpse? McCain obviously doesn't deserve to share the same air as Senator Obama. Maybe next we could go for those intolerant churches that follow the Bible as literal rather than a suggestion or guideline. Any of those pinheads that don't follow Darwinism. Oh, how about our troops. We should get them. You know they're just war criminals.

I'm so glad we're so much better, smarter, more tolerant and more accepting than all those simpletons in the fly-over country, such as Nashville. It will be great when we don't have to worry about them.

Karoli When Governor Palin and folks like you stop trying to incite racial violence against a sitting senator and presidential candidate, I'll back down. I don't hate her, but I do hate despicable tactics. Nowhere in my post did I call for violence or hate. I simply called for Governor Palin to be responsible for her extremely irresponsible speech and actions.

When did the GOP stop being the party of personal responsibility? Oh, that's right. When they're losing. Then all form of responsibility and civility is suspended.
