In reply to JohnHCooke, good points on the intersection of the politics and business. I am still not entirely convinced the election results will make much of a substantive policy difference, but the issues you cited certainly affect area tech industry.

In regards to experience, I am not sure if America is defining the term in regards to a truly impressive portfolio as oppose to someone who spends several of years 'under the radar'. Obama has the greater experience in terms of making sound decisions best for the people.

In regards to Palin and the issue of sexism, we should look at the origin of the matter - McCain. There is no way anyone would genuinely believe he would like picked a male of her statue for his running mate. This move was purely political. As a woman, I am ashamed that Palin would allow a man to use her and exploit her family. She still can't see the big picture - she is truly weak as she is naive.

In regards to Palin as a political figure, I'd rather have another term of Bush. He is blatantly a horrible president, but can make me laugh at least. Palin can't put together nouns, verbs, prepositions, etc. together to structure a sentence to save her life. She speaks in jibberish; you can't understand her half the time. She can't provide adequate answers to issues she should be advocating. This woman is a joke. The world will continue to laugh at us if this political party actually wins.

WAKE UP AMERICA. Palin is no where near qualified to retain the second most powerful seat in the world. McCain's decisions shows that he will be of further detriment to our current fragile state of the nation.

Clinton has a few weeks to straighten out the way she played this. She missed many opportunities over the past few weeks to expedite the inevitable. By commiting to support the Democratic nominee (BHO), and encouraging her loyal followers to do the same, she can help rally all Dems behind a common cause.

Politics, much like radio, is no longer about "substance". The process has been dumbed down election after election. It makes sense that Barack Obama is leaving himself plenty of wiggle room in terms of specific policies. Most Americans only want a confident, comforting presence in the Oval Office, whether they admit it or not. It worked TWICE each for Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush! The Republicans "get it", and apparently now the Democrats do.

Hillary has to offer her support UNconditionally. Screw that 'I've got 18 million voters' BS. If she muscles her way on to the ticket like that, the subliminal message becomes backroom politics is still the order of the day. She and Bill Clinton both let some real crazy mess fall out of their mouths during the campaign, and this is the price she pays. There may still be a spot for her in the Cabinet if BHO is elected, tho.

The Vampire Diaries was written in the early 90's. If you read the books you would see that they are nothing like Twilight. Yes there are a few small similarities but since the books were written so long before Twilight you can't say they copied SM. If anything it's the other way around.

I've been using your app. It's been really helpful since I've just had a baby and can't get my act together yet to workout outside of the house.

I'd love to see some way to track my progress within the app. At the least, a checkbox marking that I've completed the workout. Or a way to track how many sets that I've done or how long.

Then I could easily set goals for myself, such as workout 3x/week or do one extra set.

Police watch and wait for a complaint against future law makers. Stating they took action after principal gave them the complaint. Press reporters and video cams, focusing hard to get each and every glimpse of it, and no one doing anything. Were there no people around, was it only police, what were all of them doing? didnt they have stones and rods around to get them off the scene... everybody wants a live movie... damid!!

These guys fight together for tamil nadu, to be their own state all day, and now fight among themselves for caste, and some watch it as if its fun.

I think this is the same thing happening to india, fought for indian independence together but fight against each other in the name of caste. Today we can see the actual pain in the video, which each individual in india goes through because of this caste. We will never be happy for what our people are.

With tears,, i pray those guys get some relief from pain soon...

Is it possible that the real curse is to be nominated or to win these awards? You should consider posting what has happened to nominated and winning companies from previous years.

I know that the obvious response is that a large percentage of start-ups fail or hit impediments to success, but this is not a random sample of the general start-up population. This is a selective sample of industry achievers (kind of the like the chances for success in the NFL for an All-American college football player vs. all college football players). In theory, the success rate should be substantially higher for that selected sample than for start-ups in general.

It is really sad when AB cribs about mobile rev share. They had all the advantage like yahoo and indiatimes when the VAS market was changing. But Hungama Mobile's Neeraj Roy changed the market dynamics with the gutsy move and his strong core team pulled it thru. All the big internet teams do not understand the new mobile VAS. Period. Wait for the IPO of hungama mobile. it will be bigger than the onmobile.

hungama makes most money by exclusive content licensing for the music content. Caller tunes (or Ring Back Tones) make 60% of the VAS rev. That is where the platform owner (onmobile) has less upside - compared to hungama - (content license owner). They have grown beyond T series - Sony and now paramount movies (watch out for Bewoulf) - Going international - people churn is an issue but Neeraj is handling it very well with Saleem's strong bsiness accumen. Valuation wise they should be looking at about 1200 crores (15 times 07-08 rev multiple).

For W7 users, and maybe this applies to vista too i dunno i never used vista, when you go into properties to "run with xp compatibility" the general tab at the bottom had a little security check mark that said "this came from another computer and has been blocked for security reasons" click unblock and voila. 15 tries before i found that and when i unblocked it it worked.
