Addition of the NY Times is of dubious value. The paper is in decline (as almost all newspapers are) and is considered a highly biased source, lacking credibility, by a majority of those who lean Republican or Conservative. Whether you agree or disagree, that's a large segment of the population.
Considering the focus on industries, Linkedin would have been better off partnering with The Wall Street Journal or Investors Business Daily.
I remember 30 years ago wading through "Future Shock" and thinking that the entire book could have been condensed to 20 pages.
Now that the internet gives me an almost infinite number of alternatives, I have insufficient patience to read such a tome again. Is that an improvement?
