I'd like to know how to find a cute guy without using the Internet. The whole on-line dating thing feels scary to me--I'd rather meet someone organically or through friends. Arggggghhh!!!

It gives you permission to move on and not try to make something out of nothing. If a mate loves/likes you, he calls. He makes plans. And, it's okay if someone's not that into you. So what? Stop wasting time thinking about it and let go. Make room for someone else who is deserving of you!

I've become less social--I tend to want to be with a small group of meaningful people vs. the big social gatherings that seem so fake to me now! Also, I love to go to bed early. Sleep is precious!

I know a whole bunch about a mother's love. I've been in the hospital with viral meningitis, and my mom has been there with me the whole time and has taken me home now to recouperate with my dad and her. She has been spoiling her 39 year old baby, and I'm completely overwhelmed by her kindness and love. As a single woman, I don't know what I would have done with out her! All of you moms out there need to know how much you rock...even on a "not good mothering day". Thanks!

Nota fake tan, but one from working/playing outside...one day's worth of stubble....clean and smelling good...in a pair of faded Levi's and a white shirt that was worn earlier in the week....and if he's holding a baby while his guitar is at his feet, I DO WANT ME SOME OF THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! A four day week--we need an extra day to take care of personal business, even if that means sitting on the floor and counting lint balls. I think we should honor the Sabbath, no matter what religion or higher power a person chooses. Just one day--doesn't have to be Sunday--to understand the tradition of the Sabbath. The idea of at least one day of true rest is lost in this culture! I spend Sunday afternoons planning my work calendar, balancing my checkbook and paying bills, taking out the trash, etc. If I had more time during the week, I could learn how to set aside one day to do nothing and be grateful for the life I have. Something I want to work on anyway!

Companies today see vacation time as a sign of weakness. We are made to feel guilty. I am going to take every hour afforded! It is part of my compensation!!!

This sounds really dark...it hasn't happened in years...but, if I ever over indulged with alchohol, it would make me so depressed that I'd hide in my closet!!! Those carefree, partying days came with a price! So, I'm a big fan of getting older...no need to hide.

My dream is to enjoy a trip to the wine country in California...with a cutie pie who has not shown up in my life yet...I know I could go with girls, but the whole area is so romantic...I'm going to wait and go on that trip with someone I want to smooch!

Tara, my goal is to love my job so much that I'd still go to work on an off day! What do you do, if I may ask?

I would get up early, breathe, drink coffee and take my dogs out for a long walk. I would pray, write in my journal (yellow legal pad)and watch bad morning TV for just a bit. I would try a class at the gym, if I can remember how to get there!!!

I would get a massage, maybe have my nails done. Meet a friend for lunch and try some "little plates". Then I'd go home for a nap with the canines. Later I would read...and then make someone play Scrabble with me....cook something I've never tried for dinner....watch a movie and go to bed on clean, fresh sheets. I may stay home today. It's raining like an ark's being built!!!!

The computer! It keeps me connected to the world...and I am an impatient person, so having access to everything at one click away is very satisfying. When my e-mail was having problems, I thought I was going to have a coronary!!!
