I have to say that I was floored when I read your new Zero Cost Traffic issue. I had no idea you were battling with an illness. I, myself, have been away for a while because of recurring problems.
I truly hope you are feeling much better soon and am greatly impressed, and inspired, by your determination to continue caring for your readers and visitors to your site.
Your blog is the first one I visited after my extended leave and love the info and personal feel.

Sure, I see what you're saying. I guess what I'm trying to say is while not replacing written content altogether it will put a strain on how that content is created and used for attracting visitors.

You're absolutely correct that video is going to be a major traffic player this year. High speed access is going to force everyone to re-evaluate how they do business on the web from the simple affiliate to the major companies.
Even simple audio podcasting is starting to fade as video podcasting (and ipod video) is so much better. We, as humans, want to "see" things as opposed to just hearing, or reading, them.
As usual, great information and good food for thought!

I was wondering where you were. I hate it when my server goes down without my knowledge.
