Jeez this guy is a d-bag. This is great, soon the GOV will control everything. Look at what a great job they have done with ...oh I dont know...The Post Office, the DMV, the Welfare System... Great! Now I can one of those I-Phones like everyone has, you know those phones with the insanely expensive plans....Oh wait, why don't people not buy I-pods, Iphones, Blue Ray Disk players, flat screen TV's etc... and buy some friggin health coverage? I already have a daddy, I don't the Dali Bama acting like mine...or for that matter I don't need him acting like Joe Stalin either!

When you spread the grades, it's good for everybody.
If you get an "F", we'll change it to a "C".
If you get an "A", we'll change it to a "C".
That way, everybody passes!!!
Isn't socialism nifty!

in Salem mayor cuts 30 jobs across city in new budget on The Salem News
We better make sure to get to building that senior center so we can waste more of our money.

How about we increase parking fees around the city and do the whole resturaunt tax thing. Our property taxes are going to end up increasing again instead of trying to find ways to tax those that visit the city.

I learned something from this article, there's no correlation between multisyllabic erudition and common sense.

in Ryan Church Might Not Be Long For This Team on Hot Foot Blog
Baaad play, but weird things happen and everyone deserves an isolated gaffe. Church is a good player - great outfielder, and has shown he has a good stick. Give him a chance to play his way out of his struggles at the plate. If you're gonna trade him at least do that first - don't bury him and trade him for less than he's worth.

That's so true - each job you have introduces you to a new realm of subjects that you'll inevitably obsess over. Mochi is a doll! Little doggies usually can't run for very long, but if she can go for what seems like 25 miles, you may have the Marion Jones of shih-tzus/yorkies on your hands. Replace that purple bow with a sweatband - she's a track star!

"Can you imagine driving your car to work only to be stopped because someone landed on your car or in front of your car?"

as someone who lives and works in fremont near the bridge, i have seen this.

i still don't think the barrier is the correct move. the money would be better spent on mental health facilities for the state.

in Wells Fargo Strikes Back on Meetings Net
Not only do the housekeepers, servers, and airlines loose out, but the taxi cab drivers, bartenders, bellman, front desk clerks, any many others. The hospitality business generates the 2nd highest revenue in the country, why wouldn't we want people to hold conferences and meetings?

I'll say it - fuck the wars, the troops scattered across the globe (cough...empire), AND fuck the stimulus, and just about anything else congress spends money on.

our federal government should be able to perform its constitutional duties with a 3% flat income tax or even less.

"reason" is not something you see on Fox News or MSNBC. If you watch the prime time Fox News shows and believe the liberal point of view is presented fairly, well, there's not much more to say to you.

Fox News "Always provide time for opposing views"???? You've got to be kidding me. They craft the opposing viewpoint to further support their side and make the opposition look foolish. Please don't tell me you fall for that.

Actually, Pat Buchanan, Andrew Sullivan and Kathleen Parker ARE conservatives. It is the big-government Bushes (and their enablers like Hannity) who have abandoned the Republican party.

CHat Do you think that maybe the reason the opposition looks foolish is because, once reason is applied, it actually IS foolish? Just sayin'.

Is this a joke? You say that "More than anyone on TV, Keith Olbermann reminds me of Stephen Colbert." You do know that Colbert's character is a parody of Bill O'Reilly. You are right that MSNBC's prime time does not contain "news." But it was Fox News that created the no-news all entertainment prime time, which MSNBC now copies on the liberal side. If you think that Fox News in prime time (as you suggest in your final paragraph) offers any useful "news," any analysis you provide lacks all credibility.
