I am sad but also glad the Olympics Basketball is over for China and Yao!!!
Now, Yao should get some rest and get ready for the Rockets...same to Yi and Sun Yue!!!

I never say anything bad about Yao...but this game Gasol and the Spanish player abused him the whole game!!! I mean...Yao was abused and owned by Gasol!!! Gasol dunked on Yao like 3 or 4 times in this game!!!
Has Yao learned anything in the NBA??? You dunk the damn ball when you are under the basket...why do you try to use the board???

This reminds me of the 90's when Dennis Rodman went to the Chicago Bulls to join Michael Jordan and Pippen!
Of course I am not comparing Jordan and Pippen Championships to T-Mac and Yao...but it's almost similar!

Another disappointing loss in the first round of the Playoffs, but it was a great season for the Rockets!!!
I feel the Rockets will win it all next season and beyond with Yao healthy, Scola and Laundry more experienced!!!
I am not sure what to do with T-Mac after this season...but just wondering...how about T-Mac for Jason Kidd??? or get Shaq to back up Yao???

Wow! At least the Rockets are not the only NBA team to win 22 streak regular season games and been swept in the first round of the Playoffs!!!

How about doing the same thing that the Mavericks did to the Rockets in the 2004 NBA Playoffs...losing the first 2 games at home and winning the series in 7 games?

I believe there's still bad ref who gamble on NBA games out there, it just that they haven't been caught yet!!!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING...LAST YEAR PLAYOFFS AGAINST THE JAZZ, JVG PUT YAO TO GUARD BOOZER AND THIS YEAR RA IS PUTTING MUTOMBO TO GUARD BOOZER...WHY PUT CENTERS TO GUARD BOOZER INSTEAD OF USING A PF LIKE SCOLA OR LANDRY TO GUARD BOOZER???

Yao and Dikembe can't guard their center, Mehmet Okur, because he plays alot on the perimeter where he can hit long jump shots and 3-pointers. Boozer is more of their low-post threat. Deke did get a couple of blocks on Boozer, I believe. All in all, Utah is a tough matchup for any team defensively (add in Kirilenko, Williams, Millsap, etc). They have a legitimate shot at winning the West. -- John

For all those Rockets fans that say that Yao should be traded or that the Rockets are better without him...well now you know!!!
This is basically the same Celtics team that beat the Rockets by 4 points in Boston in January with Yao in the line up (I still remember the facial that Yao game to Garnett in that game!!!).
Without Yao...Rockets lose by 20 in Houston!!!
It was great ride for the 22 in a row...but without Yao, the farthest the Rockets can go in the playoffs is to the Western Conference Finals!!! That's it!!!
Wait until next season when Yao is back healthier, stronger, and more determined and the Rockets will win the NBA Championships for several years to come!!!
