Dun worry it is always always hard in the first time, but time heals everything. Everything will be alright, just need some getting use to. Its part of learning how to be truly independent. Granted Liverpool played poorly, but it's only two games. To say that Liverpool fans can kiss any chance of winning the Premiership after two games, maximum points (while two of their main rivals have started off with worse results), and sitting top of the league (granted Chelsea will probably hold that honor after Sunday) is absolutely moronic. This site is becoming an absolute waste of time.

I think Gerrard was playing a similar position against the US, out left drifting into the middle (Lampard and Hargreaves were paired in the center). He's played out left for Liverpool before too.

I'd rather see Capello go with Joe Hart in goal.

People get paid what they are worth, in all walks of life. Like an earlier poster said, he has a skillset that is incredibly rare. His skillset also happens to be incredibly valuable, which is why he gets paid so much. His home and gym cost him less than half a year's wages from the club. My home certainly cost a larger percentage of my income than his did. I personally don't know anybody that has a home that cost a smaller percentage of their income than his did.

What would you have Steven Gerrard do with his money? Why shouldn't he be able to spend his hard earned money to improve his home? Should he not spend his money in an attempt to not offend jealous onlookers?

Maybe it's time we gave up on capitalism and democracy too. Let's all take a vow of poverty and promise to never enjoy ourselves ever. Who's with me???

I'm a Liverpool fan, and I actually think they have a better chance of breaking into the top 2 and mounting a real title challenge this season than they did for the last few seasons. Liverpool lost their way after Daniel Agger broke his metatarsal last October, and didn't fully recover until Martin Skrtel showed up in January. They had a lot of dumb points dropped over that period (Reading away/Wigan Home/Aston Villa Home/West Ham Away).

It will still be tough to get into the Top 2, but I don't think the gap is as big as most people on this site seem to think it is.

The title of the poll and the title of the article have two different meanings. Going by the title of the article I would say Portsmouth, going by the title of the poll I would say None of the Above.

Everyone seems to think that 11 points is too much for Liverpool to make up to make a title challenge, but 30 points isn't too much for Tottenham to make up to get into a Champion's League Spot? Hypocrisy is alive and well.

Portmouth kit is very classy imo...and what kind of shirt do you expect to "strike fear into opponents".
