Many of our greatest citizens never actually "fought" with swords, some fought with their pens, words, actions... women who fought for the right to vote and for freedom over their own personal choices. Erin Brokovich fought a corrupt polluter that was killing her community. Rosa Parks "fought" for equality. Think of the small farmers who have fought the giant Monsanto and lost everything ( no thanks to current government trends) .

This type of fighting is impressive. So many of these people were small David's fighting the large Goliath and sacrificing their lives and careers based on personal conviction. Forget the obsession with foreign wars that our leaders drag us into by lying-----to truly remain free, America citizens must keep fighting the large interests that continue to try to contol our lives and take over our communities----- fight against those who desire to impose their will and their beliefs upon us all by changing laws. We must fight a government that has begun to spy on us under the guise of protecting our safety. It seems so inadequate, but we can fight with a thoughtful vote.

Sarah Palin is a threat to many of the freedoms Americans have fought for including women's choice and the freedom NOT have religion influencing America's government.
She is also a threat to small town/ small business America, "(Palin) Turned Wasilla into a wasteland of big box stores and disconnected parking lots." .... " The tax cuts that she promoted benefited large corporate property owners way more than they benefited residents" (Anne Kilkenny)

John McCain is very old now, and this is a serious concern when electing a president. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KjsEs46C70

Re: Another band tells McCain: Stop playing our song

Maybe John McCain should turn to the christian rock charts for help.
