Hey, good luck with the move... it's truly amazing when a hosting company just plain refuses to make contact with a customer, and unfortunately it seems to happen a lot.

I've recently moved a bunch of my sites over to A Small Orange, and so far they've been great, but my experience with other hosts has left me a bit paranoid now ; )

Anyways, hope it all goes smoothly!

Mmmmm, Stadium Arcadium. This was the album that really got me jazzed about playing guitar again.

Frusciante's guitar work just astounds me.

Strangely enough it's the least funky of the tunes, "Slow Cheetah," that I love the most. That and "Strip My Mind."

Their live show was incredible, and yeah, the only low point was that Anthony just isn't that great of a singer live, though he made up for it with pure energy :)

Have fun, and one little tip: if you want to catch a Cable Car, but don't want to wait in those terrible lines, just walk up the track a bit. Maybe a block or two.

You can get on anywhere the car stops, not just at the end of the track.

For some reason tourists always line up in this massive line at the end of the track...

You still have to pay though ;)

After all the talk of partial feeds I'd be interested in knowing why you've had a change of heart... I'm still finding a few sites every week that are ripping my stuff, so I hate the idea of giving them access to full feeds...I'd love to be able to give it to my legitimate readers, though.

Wow...I'm not a big fan of illegal immigration, but that's got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

Your suggestion that this one illegal immigrant's case somehow proves that ALL of those who immigrate without going through the legal process are evil, is just stupid beyond words.

Mass generalizations are almost always worthless...this one certainly is.

Gawd I hate spam...I don't think you'll have any problem with Bad Behavior -- I've been using it along side Spam Karma 2 for some time now, and I've never had anyone complain that they were being blocked, so I think you'll be OK.

It really is amazing how some people will find their way to your site, though...I've seen search phrases in my stats that literally had me rolling on the floor :)

Great write-up...I followed those comments as they were happening, and it was definitely getting hot in there. You've done a really excellent job of summarizing what was a rather covoluted conversation in the first place.

It's funny, too. I got home yesterday after a long day of following all this talk about content theft only to find that someone had stolen my whole site...literally!

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but I had this same problem with bloglines last week and they fixed it quick...only to have it happen again a couple of days later. Right now my bloglines is totally out of date, and basically useless. I am glad to hear, however, that it isn't only me...I know, I'm selfish ; )

Please keep us up to date if yours stays fixed. I hope it does!
