I've been trying to get my brain wrapped around the toolbar update for sometime now.... I've never sold links, nor has anyone that I know of in my immediate web community. My assumption is the perceived PageRank does have something to do with 301 redirects though... although I haven't put my finger on it... But some of my other blogger acquaintances never have used a 301... So I'm not sure.

Not only does it often reinforce stereotypes, I think as with any cause (look at Obama and his preacher), you often find party crashers who think that their more progressive or borderline questionable interpretation of a cause is that of the core message. (Sorry don't know how to word it better then that.)

You've written my sentiment. I think Wave has implemented the best of Twitter.... but, Twitter is a fad, and if it were to evolve while popular it could retain it's momentum. If it stays stagnant it's doomed to fail.

Personally I'm most fond of the keyboard keyloggers that can be placed in-line with the keyboard cable behind the computer. Even your boss won't suspect anything unless they physically catch you extracting the keylogger.

I think we're on the verge of a federal ruling... when I say verge- maybe the next 10 years... but I think it's a mistake to not protect every bit of rights we have. It's an opportunity to address, educate and spread the love so to speak.

The sentiment that you've expressed is similar to my own. I think, facebooks move to incorporate similar apps has made Twitter useless except for the fact that it's a fad.... and that's the catch... if Twitter evolves why it still has so much momentum, then it could come out on top. I see a perfect match between myspace and twitter....

It's important to remember, that Wal Mart used to be a "Mom & Pop" operation and feared being put out of business by the "larger competitors." Sam Walton then made the decision to grow, expand, and compete in order to keep from having his employees getting laid off. It worked.
Eventually the wal-mart bubble will bust, especially if gas prices increase so much that it levels wal-marts prices to that of it's competitors..
