I've set up my lists and have been working them within Seesmic Desktop. The thought I doing this over doesn't seem very appealing. However, for those that use the web version only this will be a great addition.

Re: Facebook – who, what and why we should care

To begin with, I like the simplicity of the Facebook interface. If your comparing MySpace on this feature only Facebook wins hands down.

Second, I'm using Facebook as my "Social Media Hub." A place to collect feeds from my blog, Google Reader, del.icio.us, Twitter, etc. and then make then available to my friends. It's a collection of "ME" to keep my friends in the loop. It's a bulletin board to those that want to stay connected.

Finally, thanks Lee for the detailed post on the latest phenomenon.

Re: SOF Observed ↵ return to front page - NPR Series on Muslim Women in Europe

Have been a listener to the podcast for a long time and always enjoy it. However, to those that speak on a regular basis there must be a change from product pitching and connecting with me.

Connecting for me is being available before and after your presentation. The presenter also has to come into my world and this can be achieved with genuine interest in me more than just his product. The bottom line is if there's genuine interest in my world if the product is applicable then I may BUY into your world.

In other words, authentic, engaging, honest, concern, interest, me has to speak louder than pitch, sale, close, client.

Just a few thoughts on the fly!

Re: Five Personal Branding Tips

Chris, I like the tip - "Tighten up you message." The question I've asked myself after reading this post is, Am I putting action towards my choices or am I in the never ending rat race of always taking action to someone else's choices?

The challenge isn't whether we won't to act.
