rambling, patronizing?
you mock what you do not understand. Like him or not Alan Keyes is brilliant and he brings up valid points. He is a patriot. God Bless him.

surely you jest. But begs the question. If Obama was not a natural born citizen, would you demand he leave office?

No, I'd demand that he be impeached and then tried and convicted for fraud and treason.

in Django Simplepages - a Basic CMS System on Punteney.com
I shall go to try it out, hoping for 1.0 compatibility.
I also hope it's better than django-cms.org which took me an age to install, and is now stubbornly refusing to be useful at all!

in @haacked link whore. WHORE! ;) on Twitteresque
As the father of a whore I find your post very hurtful. Was that your intention? How lucky you are. You can do so much that others just take for granted. Why not try doing some good instead of ridiculing people with special "needs". They're doing the best they can. Can you say the same thing?

IME a lot of leads are leaving because it feels futile to try to get things done. You'll get more accomplished by going elsewhere to work.

Patents are like Pez for Y execs. They happen automatically. I got five and I was actively trying to keep the patent lawyers away.

in Help us test our new front page! on Nashua Telegraph
At somepoint newspaper sites have to stop being newspaper sites and become Web sites. You cannot fit everything on one page. The left had nav compresses everything in the middle of the page and there is just too much. Look how long your screen shot is, who is goingto scroll all the way to the bottom of the page? If you have effective search and navigation people will be able to find what they are looking for and you can have some room to breath on this page.
I access your site with my blackberry pretty regularly.

These are valid points - but comparing a news web site to other 'generic' sites can be difficult due to the needs and the broad audience being served.
The Telegraph has 20+ online sections and literally hundreds of thousands of articles. That drives a very different design than a site focused on a niche topic or readership.
In terms of usability - the new site is a bit shorter than the current one - and the bottom third of the page is well used by readers. But, you do not need to scroll - all of the stories listed near the bottom are there for convenience - you can also find them elsewhere in the site via the navigation bar.
thanks

in Wordpress Automatic Upgrade plugin on Techie Buzz
Excellent, just upgraded from 2.5 to 2.5.1 using the manual option.
Only glitch was that I had to do it twice.
First time I was logged out after upgrading the database.
Ran it again and it cleaned up the previous install and started again.
Second time through was not logged out and it completed successfully.
2.5 > 2.5.1 in 10 mins :)
Thanks

Not quite a trailer park. Myspace is more like a vibrant urban area. Facebook is a bit like a boring suburb.

Anyway, 500 credits isn't so bad, you get another two credits for every dollarpoundyen you spend at Tescos anyway so you can soon save up agan. Don't forget your free TESCO gift card, eh?
