yeah, I enjoy the posts, it actually broke the news for me while I took a broke from work to check my tech news.

Very happy to see Palin get the spot, she's legit. I've been following her for awhile.

I saw the implmentation this with the Ron Paul Network... it just seemed like I was signing up for Moli except I had extra profile with a Ron Paul banner above it.

Which I don't mind much, cause Moli has a pretty cool interface, but I wouldn't call it a white label solution.

Unless someone wants to show me a more isolated example.

I only had problems with faceboo for abit, now it's working fine. I'm hoping they add service for Metaki, orkut, yahoo 360 and Livespaces (read my profile to see how many networks I'm on)

Between ping, switchabit, and tubemogul, I've been able to manage a lot of media going out.

As far as RSS goes, just use an RSS reader that emails the feed to you and direct it to the ping.fm email address you get for your account.

Ping.fm already has a pretty huge list of supported services plus an easy enough method to have any site support it.

IsThisStupid I've been having issues with Ping.fm: posts are only making it to some of my services. I've run into a few that are having similar problems. Plus, it doesn't have the ability to schedule posts/parse an RSS feed to posts.

http://www.orgoo.com is great, I can check all my gmail accounts pretty eaily on the fly, the only disadvantage is you can only log into one Gtalk account and it can be slow at downloading you inbox.

Orgoo is still in Beta, but it's my new favorite webapp, once it's got all the kinks worked out it'll hand down kick meebos ass. Unless Meebo can add some email functionality to their service.

There is a lot to lie about Ron Paul

- A Candidate that doesn't take money from special interest or campaign Matching funds

- Honest and educated, willing to get booed for not pandering to the mainstream

His views are:

- Small government that IDEALLY only effect self-defence, protecting civil liberties, and honoring voluntary contracts

- Against Income tax, willing to cut spending the 40% neccessary to get rid of it without replacing it with a horrible sales tax (Huckabee is for a 23% sales tax... boo)

- Is against government regulating the internet in any way

ROnPaulSpace.com came out before the giuliani SSN, but since it's run on Onesite.com no one cared.

I started a SSN for Freedom Movement to elect not only Ron Paul but people like him, We have candidates for congress like Rick Frey on the SSN, and Thomas Hill from NC

This is not googles problem, this an issue with an ad media. The difference between a valuable view and the opposite. Sure google should develop more options but I doubt click thrus will go away like how people still buy by impressions.

Google has the technology to offer options so when they do it'll be good, do you really doubt google is prepared for like... everything.

why are you assuming us in the Ron Paul and Obama camps are doing this, I've been quite outspoken about taking the high road and most of us in the Ron Paul camp are the same. There has been the occasional misguided person, but trust us, most of us take the moral high road.

RonPaulForums.com you can see us discussing many of these issues. I mean if Romney might be involved in push-polling himself why can't other campaigns be involved with this.

in Mashable Lists: Your Suggestions on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
- still no central place to find the lists

- what happen to white label social networks list, new services have been popping up

- list of top networks for each White Label Solution

- Top Networks made with certain CMS, like top 10 drupal powered networks, top 10 elgg powered networks, etc.

- Old-school psuedo networks from back in the hey-day like youthink.com and hotornot.com, time for a history lesson

- re-do the top web 2.0 directories, a lot oft hose sites don't really update anymore

- re-do many of the old lists

Sean P. Aune - central place for lists is being worked on, and IS coming. Promise.

- White label social networks has been discussed a couple times since we last did this, and there seems to be quite a few good lists out there already, so we're passing on it for now.

- The problem with any "top 10 this" lists is... how do you judge it? What makes that site worthy of inclusion?

again, no reverbnation.com it's widgets and statistical breakdown, and mailinglist features are so sweet

other methods of revenue:

- Donations
- Recording Vblog ads
show them the music before they even have chance to steal it, and sell ads
- give a portion to charity, it'll shorten margins but increase sales
- abandon the cd
- subscription, new songs every month emailed eight to you for small monthly fee
- Live Show subscriptions, this could be bad
- Licensing & Endorsements

GIVE all content away, and focus on merchandise sales, but you got to cut production costs.

The label in an antiquated business model, you don't really need them anymore except for musicians who havn't done their research.

Most of the services you need from them can be handled by a decent management team of `1.

The margins can't be the same, mean production costs can't be the same. I've seen great albums made for almost nothing and real crap made for million in production cost. The major labels in order to survive just need to stop wasting so much money in production. It's called free market pressures, it breed innovation.
