in UN Nuclear Chief blasts Israel for bombing Syrian Nuke plant on Infidels Are Cool
l Baradei & his buddy Dr. Khan in Pakistan are both trying to facilitate an Islamic Bomb in the hands of anti-Israel nutjobs---pure and simple. That's why they gave this terrorist-wannabe & the IAEA a Nobel Peace Prize, just to destroy the brand further! Just another anti-Jewish cabal!

Syria and other terrorist countries are systematically and deliberately empowered by NGO striped-pants cookie pushers like David Albright [any relation to the dumbest SecState we’ve ever had?]

I was actually disempowered to comment on the most egregious Syria-lovin’ blog-site on this very issue a few months ago, after I depants and spanked with FACTS several inaccurate & misleading pieces the site is question was posting vis-a-vis Syria. There are all sorts of apologists for terror and it’s all based on the prevailing Hate America vibe that the loo-zer countries in the UN that can’t run their economies use as a distraction.David Albright is a not-very-bright example of the above.

in Taylor Marsh’s Amazing Dishonest Adventure on Bang the Drum
Taylor Marsh and another skank named Jeralyn are two skags simply unable to brook any opposition to their Hillarious fraud of a candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if Ickes and Grunwald were slipping them some bucks under the table to continue their one-sided rants.

in The Christmas Ad That Topped Them All on Captain's Quarters Comments
Beautiful and understated in a time when shrill and in-your-face tastelessness prevails, Thompson's ad reminds us of the higher calling to greatness true Americans respond to.

Classy and thought-provoking, with a tug at the heartstrings to boot.

Romney may be the default GOP candidate. Rudy was the strong defender of our freedoms as the Dems tried so hard to lose the war in Iraq, but now it appears that domestic concerns outweigh foreign policy---thanks to Petraeus & the Surge & our brave fighting men.

Romney has the resume and the appearance of a managerial type, a governor rather than a Mayor of a fractious zoo of a city. Huckabee is also a governor, though not of an "important" state like liberal MAssachusetts.

Every time I see Rudy's eyes bulge as he speaks, and check out Huckabee's strange sentence commutations and strong "Christian" backing from home-schoolers and buckle-of-the-Bible-belters, I cringe a bit. Is this guy ready for foreign policy when he never heard of the NIE on Iran?

In my heart, I'm a Fredhead, but think he lacks the energy & drive---plus "experience" as a Senator reminds me of the three top Dems, who also are lawyers like Fred.

McCain just has that flakiness on the border & illegals, so I guess it's sort of a process of elimination & Romney is the last man standing.

He sure beats the Troika of lawyer/senator types on top of the Dem greasy pole.

in Dan Bartlett Burns A Bridge on Captain's Quarters Comments
Sadly, the entire Bush operation's outreach to its own base mirrors its inability to explain itself in Reaganesque or even Clintonesque clarity & concision.

GWB operates as though he has a base vocabulary of about 5000 words, and his limited range of communication skills really sets the tone for an administration which often acts as though they are a deer in the headlights.

The press conference on Iran & the NIE shows he cannot in clear and simple terms communicate with the American people, preferring to try to woo the hostile press or to state principles. Give the people red meat to either chew on or reject. But the mealy-mouthed shrugs and smirks just don't convey much besides frustration. And if George could just rouse up the conservative troops like an articulate cheerleader, rather than claiming to be a quarterback [I'm the decider..."]

GWB is no Tom Brady, and he certainly isn't a two-fer like Reagan.

in Wife Or Child -- Which One Has The Best Foreign-Policy Experience? on Captain's Quarters Comments
When Sen. Obama says he will sit down with Ahmed…jad without preconditions and will invade Waziristan with US troops without Pak permission, he is so off-base and naive that no amount of Jakarta playground experience can overcome his lack of experience.

I assume that Richard Holbrooke or perhaps Bill Richardson will be named Secretary of State. Sane hands at that helm might dissuade Obama from such walks on the mild side as the Iranian proposal.

However, his pronouncements on foreign policy demonstrate a deep lack of understanding of the nasty fact that the US has enemies who are not going to be sweet-talked by even such a charming fellow as B. Hussein Obama. Or Barry, as he used to call himself during his drug-daze in college.

Come to think of it, wouldn't Barry's high-daze give him expertise on drug issues?

But Hillary must be dreaming if she thinks being First Lady is a resume even for foreign policy chops.

Muslim crime and near-terrorist harassment of non-observant Muslims is exempt, as is crime by illegal aliens in sanctuary cities. Part of the nanny-state project already showing its unattractive nether regions to the public!
