I appreciate you telling the story, and I look forward for you to have a very successful next chapter!

I'm in your shoes when it comes to very, very tight knit Christian community, the type of Christian that you were, and how your family and community don't know about your changes in direction yet. That's me, also! I'm shaking in my boots because I so desperately want to keep the respect, love, and closeness that I have with my loved ones. To do this, I live a lie. So who do they love? Someone I am not any longer. And who should they learn to love and respect? The real me.

I hope we both can gather the courage to confront our fears head-on!

Re: Sentence Tip #4 - The Puzzle and Payoff of Periodic Sentences

Having found your blog without asking or even trying, and after delighting in the grammatical grandiosity contained within while feeling the weight of how little I actually know about sentence structure, you should know this site is going on my blogroll immediately.

Ok I tried! It took me forever (perhaps I should count that as break time from work). It's just not the natural tone in which I write. Let me know if I need to learn more about clauses before trying this again.

Have a great week, Marcus.

Re: Be the First to Preview an All New TheHighCalling.org

You know how excited I am to see the new HC go live! It already looks great from what I've peeked at so far. Keep working hard. The fruit is worth it!

---------
On an unrelated note: I wanted to let you know that I've been inspired by your blog. You have a way of making me think and awaken the sleeping writer within me. I have chosen your blog for the Thinking Blog Award meme because I am grateful for the energy and time you put into your posts here!

If you'd ever like to participate:

1. Simply add the graphic to your blog and link it back to The Thinking Blog.
2. A link back to the person’s blog who awarded you would be appreciated =)

Re: CSFF Day 2 - Theology, Breasts, and Riding Bicycles

I'm still working out the words "Christian fantasy novel" and how that could possibly mean quality fiction. I'm buried in old bias. But now that I see a good recommendation I will keep my eyes open.
