There are some chilling comments by in house employees posted this week. Our personal experience is one in which we believe that the "bullying" that you can read about in the past with Philadelphia FHA is alive and well in other forms. Though it seems to be at least one of the the same perpetrators. I would encourage those within HUD to openly express their opinions without fear about what is happening there.

Re: &#8216;Flying While Muslim,&#8217; the New &#8216;Driving While Black&#8217;

AP reported "Two other passengers reported hearing what they considered to be a suspicious remark." Until we know what that was said, one really can not say if it was "a bit excessive". Though I doubt it was just something like "hey look, I am going to have a great view from here!"

Re: Obama Faces Legacy of Lawlessness at Justice

Interesing story. But some of these career folks abused their DOJ power and trampled people's constitutional rights. They allowed themselves to be used by liberal groups and other government agencies as attack dogs, or Abu Ghraib dogs (just used to scare you). When I read the above it makes me think that maybe we will just swing back and forth to each extreme with each administration. Very sad.

Re: Chicagoans Expect Bad Behavior From Pols

How did Obama and Rahm Emanuel get out of Chicago unblemished? Wish Blago write a tell-all book -"Inside Chicago Politics by Rod Blagoevich". He could be the new Ditka - The Likeable Bad Boy. And it's not that I like what he did, but he is very amusing an has that tough Chicago Irish Pug Swagger (even though he is Serbian, I believe). When we walks and talks, he physically "bobs and weaves" like he is dodging invisible punches. Though now with Sarah Palin gone, Blago is the last good reason to watch SNL.

Re: Obama&#8217;s Boys from Chicago

Ben, you say "Have I forgotten anything?"<br><br>Let's not forget D-I-I-T-T-KAAAA! They have a history or shakedowns and extortion. People that have participated in it (see their attempted shakedown of the Philadelphia FHA) are still in power at HUD, and continue in their shakedowns. HUD helped financed ACORN, who like HUD thought shakedowns were how business is conducted. Steve Preston, HUD Secretary is head of the most disgraceful organization in government, and it is unthinkable that this incomptent group of crooks who helped bring this economy to its knees would be pointing the finger at anyone. While abolishing HUD is unlikely, or "blowing it up" as recommended by former HUD Secrety Henry Cisneros, then this organization must be cleaned out on every level. It needs a person of character and integrity to lead it. Someone who will make shakedowns and extortions something that will not be tolerated. If that does not happen then this CORRUPT-TO-THE VERY-CORE cancerous mafia will continue to bring this country down.
