I love "Garden State," but he has done other things (besides Scrubs) since 2003. I won't list his IMDB, but I believe "The Last Kiss" was his project just as much as GS (including helping with the soundtrack).

tuesday i went for the top-heat sauce at a local wing-stop (the windsor) and the manager was a little astonished that I didnt cough or sputter or break out in a sweat..
that said, I've never been *big* into hot sauce. I came around to heat fairly late in my youth, and have usually been on a take it or leave it basis. however, In my brief time in germany, I realized that one of the lonliest feelings was the utter absence of any sort of spicyness. The dearth of a decent soft drink was tolerable, but I was completely unable to find anything with any heat whatsoever. part of me felt like i was stuck in a nursing home.
in desperation, I once when to a spanish restaurant, and ordered the 'hottest' thing on the menu, and asked for it, "besonders picante" the waiters looked at me as if I had ordered sulphuric acid. the food came, I tasted it, and decided they mixed up my order with someone elses. it wasnt. The absolute hottest thing in town was exactly as spicy as a room temperature cornmeal custard. congrats on finding SOMETHING spicy. also, as you know - curry doesnt cut it.

I'm just coming into hot sauce now, especially since spending 2 weeks at brendan's with so much access to it. Towards the end, I realized almost everything that I ate was in some way spicy or spiked in some way with hot sauce. Then, I left there and even at home I was spicing shit up. Skip forward to the first couple days of Germany and everything seemed so tasteless, so boring. I got hooked pretty quickly on the spice.
It's a real drag here. It feels like the whole country is collectively pussying out on something that's a lot fun and very enjoyable. Like taking somebody out on a date and they tell you "I don't drink alcohol." Great, well lets sip on some milk then.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Zach Braff fan but I would really like him to write and direct something new that truly is his.
