to simply consult clients on SMO strategy or to take the helm itself?

My opinion is that when an outside agency starts actually taking over the social media activity itself then Danny Sullivan's stewardship :)

IMHO SMX Advanced has the most meat as far as takeaways of all the major Internet Marketing conferences - Danny is acutely tuned to the pulse of the market which was amplified when he was tapped by NPR to voice his thoughts on the Yahoo Microsoft deal - in particular the 2008 SMX Advanced with its revealing quasi black hat GIVE IT UP sessions albeit to Danny's chagrin.

PubCon in Vegas is like the Woodstock of Internet Marketing conferences where its truly about the networking & meeting of the minds (generally over drinks) in a party atmosphere - Brett does an amazing job organizing it on a massive scale & it seems everyone involved has been counting the days to its start. blood/sweat you put into this.

If I can note a great giveback to your subscribers/commenters is this great plugin which I started using called CommentLuv - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/commentluv/

Once a comment is approved it automatically posts a DOFOLLOW link to the commenters last blog post.

I was going to post about it on my site but I can do a posting on yours instead if you are still looking for guest bloggers.

,Michael Martin

EDIT:

Hey Michael,<br Thanks for the suggestion, I have installed it.

Garry

Re: A Brand New Make Money Online Social Network

Garry,

I would say this is a venture best served if you already have a team of admins/moderators dedicated to monitoring else it would be a major time drain for you.

I agree with DD that the site would get spammed and attempts at gaming it unless it is proven to show constant oversight & moderation.

With that being said I like the MoneySmack domain.

PS - I see you went with the CommentLuv suggestion - I forgot to mention previously that they can be nofollowed.

,Michael Martin

Check out Michael Martin's last blog post..Android Developer SDK Petition Grows to Over 120

Re: Should DMOZ.org Be DeRanked From The Google Index?

Suprisingly I was able to get my site listed in less than a month in DMOZ earlier this summer.

Check out Michael Martin's last blog post..The New Hot Word is “Chin”

Re: Are You Listed On My Links Page?

Title: Google Android

Description: Latest news on Google Android and the gPhones that use it.

Category: Google News

URL : http://www.googleandblog.com/

Thank You!

Check out Michael Martin's last blog post..Android - Whats in it for Google?

Re: I Think I Might Start Whoring Out My Blog Again

Absolutely monetize your site - get something back for the blood/sweat you put into this.

EDIT:

Hey Michael,

the plugin actually adds a NOFOLLOW link in the comments.
