Most of you should go to Amazon because Hollywood and New York is Easy. So we usually get stuck in the Amazon. My tip is to use the edge or nose part of the Fly Kite. Hot Air Ballon should take about 3-5 times each and you should have no Problem. Sydney is the same like the Amazon and then off Ayers Rock. Just wait for the screen to move so you can place your hook. Then from Abu Dabel all the way to Italy is a piece of cake because you have the magical flying rugs. I stopped at Greece which is like Rio De Jeniro. Hope this Helps!!!!

What Is God?

God is man’s mental concept that he chose to invent so as to give someone something to believe in for a universal answer. The word God is the three letter answer for everything unknown to man. When anything that is unknown to man is questioned, the question is answered by the three letter answer God, by default, thereby the question is answered and it is no longer has to be debated in one’s own mind. Now one must not question any further, questioning any further would be setting one up to question the existence of this imaginary God. We must not ever question the existence of this imaginary God, because you will suffer unending consequences. This God already knows what your motives are and will therefore punish you according to your ulterior motives. In other words you must not ever question the existence of this God, otherwise you will advise this God of your intent to question his existence and he will judge you and punish you according to your works and deeds. So in the end, God is solely the invention and creation of a man, but one must not ever question the existence of this imaginary being, to do so would cause a multitude of different beliefs and religions to spring up all over the world, and certainly no God would ever want that to happen.

Why would anyone want apologetic answers for something that does not exist? People want the Bible to be true, they wish for it to be true, but there is nothing believable written in the Bible that pertains to common sense and reality.

What people are trying to pretend is, to believe something that was written down 2000 years ago by people that heard voices and thought they were from God but were only their internal voices that they thought was what a God, and what a God would expect and want from them.

The people that wrote the Bible knew nothing about nothing, they knew nothing about the planet nor their environment. To believe in the Bible one must stoop to a level of ignorance, one must dumb themselves down to a level of non-intelligence to conform to the teachings. You must become as little babes, without any knowledge, to believe in the Bible.

How have we survived this long, over 2000 years and yet the Bible is passed off as pure fact, without questioning the Bible as a whole?. There is not one thing in the Bible that is true, never will be true, cannot be true. No one can have a vision in a dream and tout it as pure fact. To look for an apologetic answer is to put a band-aid on the truth. Why would anyone want to believe in something blindly and call it faith, just so their petty beliefs can seem to become true?

Luke it appears that you and your wife and Will have decided to face reality and no longer stoop down to the level of religious insanity, and you are to be applauded. Congrats for breaking out of the mold of religious insanity.

It appears that in the rural areas of Malaysia, the people are still
so poor that they will gladly accept a few ringgit to vote for the
BN, something which no opposition party or independent candidate is
in the position to offer them.

Forget about all the “support” that they give to any opposition
candidate during the campaign period. This is merely to up the “ante”
so that more money and promises are forthcoming from the BN (and if
they are lucky, from the opposition candidates as well). They think
that they are being smart. They of course fail to realize that they
are only deceiving themselves.

This act of self-deception has drastic consequences for them and for
all of us over the next 5 years or so after any election, but will
they ever learn? It has been going on for the last 50 over years.

Ironically, especially in the Malay-majority constituencies, it is
not even necessary for the BN to pay anything other than for some
token food and drinks for the voters. These are the voters who will
believe anything and everything that the BN and the BN-controlled
media will tell them.

Will the BN prove yet again that it can fool most Malaysians all the time?

The situation is so bad that in some if not most of these areas, the
saying goes that even if you put a monkey under the BN symbol, it
will win. And there are many BN YB’s who are arguably worse than
monkeys (and that includes KJ). The only reason they are picked is to
be yes-men (or yes-monkeys) to the Prime Minister. Just give them
their daily bananas.

UMNO is only too happy to let the Prime Minister, arguably now
the sleepiest and most ineffective politician in the country, to get
away with it as long as he delivers the goods each election – how is
never the question.

Malaysians have still not woken up to the full extent that
their country's wealth and resources have been stolen, siphoned off
or wasted (thought sheer inefficiency and mismanagement) by UMNO and
their cronies, leaving the rest of us for generations to come to pay
for the damage.

This being the case, it is doubtful that the 9th Malaysia Plan’s
avowed intentions of eradicating poverty, etc. will work, since most
of the allocations meant for the poor will be stolen by the BN
monkeys who are about to be voted in to Parliament or rather by the
sleepy zoo-keeper, Pak Lah and his cronies and family, UNLESS the
people really have a say in it and say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"

After all, the people will end up paying for it themselves. Where
else in the world can you find people paying to get cheated and
stolen from?

That is democracy Malaysian style. The people deserve what they get!
Too bad, I couldn't vote this time as I'm still 19 going on 20.
So my dear Malaysians, VOTE WISELY THIS TIME!

James,

I'm in the same boat as you. I took (actually, RE-took after scoring a bone-crushing 74 on my first attempt) BEC 10/3 and will take audit on 10/31 (aka friday). I have not received my score, and actually went so far as to call my state BOA (VA) and ask when I would get the score. That was wasted energy.

The key thing to remember is that there is basically nothing you can do to affect your score after you finish the exam. Also, there is nothing you can do to increase the speed by which your score is released. That being said, driving yourself crazy worrying about your BEC score may hamper your confidence on AUD and/or future exam sections. The Best advice I can offer is to accept the fact that you aren't getting your score for a while, pretend like AUD is a separate exam, and keep plugging away. You will drive yourself insane obsessing about something in which you have no control over at this point.

As long as you don't feel the need to update your device every time a new one comes out, they are actually a very good alternative to books. First off, the e-ink screen is VERY efficient as far as display technology goes. It requires the barest minimum of power to keep the image on the screen once it is there, which is why the Kindle battery life is so long.

Another thing that people forget about books is that in our culture of ownership, once we own a book, we tend to like to keep it. This leads to a requirement for more space in our homes. I know this sounds like a pretty minor thing, but the most avid readers end up needing a good bit of space for their books. Anything we can do to reduce the size of home we need is a good step towards "greening" our lives.

As someone who has returned to school to get another degree, I wish that we could force textbook publishers to start offering their outrageously priced and heavy books in this format.

While I can clearly see the difference between them, it's unfortunate that all the hybrids are beginning to share the same profile. The new Insight and Volt were opportunities for variation to the styling in the hybrid market and unfortunately, neither Honda nor Chevy seemed really interested in this after the concept stage. Still, I'm glad that at least we're going to see something greener out of Detroit.

Your follow up comments are the ones that were sitting in the back of my head the entire time I was reading your article. The supposition that we SHOULD maintain the level of meat and cheap calories in our diet is the major flaw of Mr. Hurst's argument.

Cutting back significantly on meat and improving the quality of the meat and the vegetables that are available would actually allow us to eat less and still be healthy. It is exactly the consumption levels that he defends that force a system that is beneficial to no one involved.

The connection between the change in farming methods and the increase in obesity still seems to be a fringe conversation.

Now that bell has been rung, however, un-ringing it is an entirely uphill battle. This is especially true since there are LOTS of Americans who have their economic well-being tied in with the current system.

I have had a hard time understanding why stainless has still not caught on in the mainstream market more than it has. When the BPA stories hit the news a little over a year ago the company that really seemed to pick up in business was SIgg. I was dumbfounded. For the same price, I was able to find a Klean Kanteen that had a cap that was also stainless (where it contacts the water; it is plastic on the outside). At the time, Sigg put out a statement saying that their proprietary coating "didn't leach anything" into the water. Why even take a chance when there is a perfectly good alternative?

As far as BPA free plastic goes, the BPA was in the plastic for a reason. It stabilized it so that it would last. Without BPA, some other chemical is being used to perform the same purpose. Just because it isn't BPA doesn't mean it's been tested for consumer safety and doesn't mean it isn't leaching something else into the water. I once again urge people to get themselves a nice stainless bottle and, when it has reached the end of it's useful life, recycle it.

Kris, ceramic is beautiful but I think it has limitations that will keep it from becoming popular in this market. Compared to plastic (and more importantly, stainless) it is heavy and brittle. The other down side to ceramic is that it is difficult to recycle. It potentially could be downcycled and used in something else, but once fired clay is pretty permanent. That said, I would still prefer a well made ceramic mug to a plastic one in a heartbeat.

It is interesting that as true grassroots organizations have managed to wrangle at least a little power from the lobbies the lobby response is to try to mimic the grassroots method. I'm glad that the impact on energy policy has not been as effective as the "grassroots" campaign on health care. It seems that no amount of spin on the subject of "dirty" energy can confuse the matter in the public eye. At least, for now.

Apple DOES advertise themselves as green. Their latest round of ads for the new laptops pushes exactly that. That isn't to say that I don't think they are heading in the right direction.

I recently sat through a lecture with Steve Belletire, one of the authors of the Okala sustainable design guidelines. He was impressed with the direction the company has taken with their new computers.

By having stronger structures, they are able to reduce the need for interior supports. By maintaining a stringent manufacturing environment, they are able to make their waste aluminum easy to reprocess into usable material.

Sometimes rethinking an entire strategy is the best way of reducing impact instead of just swapping "green" materials into already existing processes.

Apple deserves kudos for attempting to rethink the manufacturing. I'm getting kind of tired of people (and Dell) trying to take them down a peg.

The original story on Blago's security detail was very well done, and all the evidence indicates that Blago knew or should have known about many of the problems, and exploited the overstaffing for his own convenience.

In any other context, "untrue rumors" would be a redundancy. Rumors are usually presumed to be suspect at best by those who think, and presumed to be true by those who don't. Personally, when the rumor is about a politician, it usually just confirms what I think of politicians.

You have to admit, Blago hasn't really done that much (besides talk a good game) since he got the job. It's not that far a jump from "lazy" to "corrupt."

When I was 14 or so, I vacationed in Washington DC. I absolutely loved the city and all the excitement of it. I knew then that I wanted to get involved in politics, but didn't know how.

In 2003, I got involved in the Teenage Republicans at my local high school and volunteered like crazy. I likely walked every parade possible in my area, I did door to door, I recruited new voters, I organized info tables at the school... it was exciting. I also registered to vote!

On October 29th, I turned 18 and voted on November 2 for George W. Bush! Not only did I vote, I also worked as a Poll Watcher! Since then, it's been a great trip thus far. I've served as Statewide Youth Director for a Gubernatorial Campaign, Presided over the Society of Conservaitve Students, and am currently working for College Republican National Committee...

It's been an exciting journey thus far!

Unfortunately my experience was not nearly as good as Jodi's. Although we arrived less that an hour after her we found the ribs to be somewhat dry and chewy. Sadly, the pork butt was the least desirable of all the menu selections as it was quite dry. The brisket, however, was quite good; moist, not to fatty and full of flavor. Was it the best brisket I'd ever had? Was it worth an hours drive? Unfortunately my group voted No.
I'm a believer in giving every food establishment a second try so next time I will definitely get to Snow's earlier. No doubt there's good BBQ in them there smokers, so maybe it truly is the early bird that gets the worm.

Regarding the ban put on your brownie eating, most restaurants do not allow for this in the case that if something you ate made you sick or die, an insurance claim can be filed against the business owner. Stupid but that's our insurance industry. I can't say that that's the specific issue for TGN however.

Agree 100% with your thoughts about the effects of bad service on a meal however my experience at The Good Knight was quite the opposite. Luck of the draw I guess. BTW - next time try the Trout Pate and the Meatloaf. Both excellent choices as well. Order a Bees Knees from Billy if you're looking for a good cold-weather drink.

Other than the fabulous dinner companion the meal was very good. Crostini's could have been drizzled with honey which would have made them less messy. Baked oysters were especially good. I did not confuse pork chop for lamb chop and was very happy with the choice. Often pork chops tend come out a bit to dry but this one was cooked perfectly. Too bad it took 40 minutes to get it.
