in Content Spooling Network Review: The 21 Day Trial on Vlad Zabblotskyy - A politically Incorrect Blogger
CSN could work for writers struggling with producing compelling copy, but I'd be interested in reading how that final copy reads.

Some of the rewritten stuff I have found around the internet is dull and unconvincing as the writer's lack of subject knowledge (or care to write properly) is evident.

Hopefully, you'll find CSN to work otherwise -- best wishes for a successful test run.

in Eyetracking Shows Web Audience Ignores Ads on Marketing Pilgrim
This news isn't surprising. Long ago I quit clicking on ads and I recently removed AdSense from my flagship blog as the annoyance didn't justify the few bucks that I made.

Content is king and bloggers/web site owners need to find different ways to monetize their sites. Personally, I am tired of some of the more spammy looking site out there -- too many widgets, chicklets, and ads to to get through in order to read the content.

in How to Use StumbleUpon to Promote on David Risley
StumbleUpon is awesome! I typically get more than half of my daily traffic from SU, sometimes a lot more. Some of my visitors stop long enough to leave a comment on my blog, read an article, or contact me for more information.

Because SU is so valuable, I purposely stumble as many pages as possible for each of my mutual friends. Together, I am sure we do a great job of helping each other out.

in Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales Wants to Have His Cake and Eat it too! on Marketing Pilgrim
As Dr. Hill mentions, Wikipedia has flaws but so does the Encyclopedia Britannica at least according to a study comparing the reliability (or accuracy) of the two. As far as Search Wikia goes, he'll have to do a lot to make the site relevant -- the search engine shake out indicates that the strong are already on top and improving all of the time.

in MyBlogLog vs Blogcatalog – Differentiation on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
Andy, thank you for the time to show us the differences between the two communities. Admittedly, I am tilted toward MBL at the moment, but this article serves to remind me that BC has some attributes to it worth exploring. I thought I would be more involved with BUMPzee, but StumbleUpon is eating up all of my time!

Did I win? Nice contest -- I hope it brings a boatload of traffic to your site.

in Technorati Punishes Me For Too Many Favorites on Vlad Zabblotskyy - A politically Incorrect Blogger
I haven't paid all that much attention to Technorati ever since they changed things with their "favs" category. I guess Technorati has become so easy to game that they felt that they needed to make the change.

in Blog Contests: Make Them Worthwhile To Participate In on Sage Blogger
I've been contemplating holding a contest too, but I am not sure of what the parameters should be or if my expectations will be in line. Best wishes with your contest -- you have to start somewhere!

I agree that StumbleUpon traffic is superb. While Digg can be worthwhile, successful articles usually mean a surge of traffic that will crash your server. With SU, traffic is spread out over several days and can last for weeks.

in Google Adsense Arbitrage- Finally The Step In the Right Direction on Sage Blogger
I am so glad that this isn't only a rumor, but that Google has followed through. The internet is too cluttered with junky sites -- this move is one that should begin to clean everything up.

in How To Write Eye-Popping Headlines While Exhausted on Instigator Blog
Man! So little sleep! This too shall pass or have another baby to double your pleasure.

When I am sleep deprived, coffee is my best friend. Once I have a jolt, I can write but I do "sound" as if I am ADHD!

in Month of Madness: Will I Make $1,300 in One Month with Paid Reviews? on Vlad Zabblotskyy - A politically Incorrect Blogger
Vlad, I am sorry that I did not respond to your message earlier. Thank you for the mention too.

Yes, in April 2007 I made something like $1304 from PayPerPost. At that time I was managing eight blogs and posting ads regularly to seven of them. My main blog I kept relatively ad free, choosing only to go with the occasional high paying ad once in awhile.

Since that time I sold off two blogs and closed down four other blogs so I am left with only two blogs, both occupying the same URL. PPP has changed a lot since that time in that the quality of ads seems to have dropped. So, I doubt that I'll ever make more than $100 in any given month unless someone agrees to pay the $99 charge I have on my The Article Writer blog.

On the other hand, I pulled in $43 last month from Text Link Ads. Not bad, eh?
