Democrats go to bed at night worried that somewhere, someone is getting less help than they need.

The wealthiest few (consisting mainly of those who inherit that wealth) control much of our political discourse through massive spending on distribution of misleading ads (most of which have nothing to do with economics) which coalesce voting blocks of Evangelicals (even though conservatives are about as far from Christ's teachings as you can possibly get), bigots, and those who believe that nothing more than wealth will make them whole and happy.

Even Rush Limbaugh is clever and entertaining once in a while. Why does that not surprise me? Some people are very easily amazed. And amused? Maybe it's just because you're such a funny guy, on and off the court.

You may know that H.L. Mencken wrote that the people of this great country would not be happy until they put a moron in the White House. Well, having accomplished that in 2000 and 2004, perhaps they will now demonstrate their support for equal rights by doing the same with a female moron. I mean, that's alot easier than doing something meaningful like finally passing the ERA. Remember that? No? It was the Equal Right Amendment, which your party killed.

The GOP is now the party of hypocrisy. They advertise one thing, deliver another, and apparently don't even realize it. What do YOU call this? Denial? Salesmanship? Is that how you've increased your insurance commissions so much the last few years?

Sarah Palin may be your taliswoman, and she may get the job done. I mean, I can see it:

She's so spunky and charming and real....that we'll overlook our fundamental disagreement with her on every major issue. We'll vote for her anyway! It will be fun, and Godly, and by gum, American!

Re: Excited to be a Republican

Dan, you're amazed? What better way to destroy the political credibility of women than to put an incompetent one in high office.

If the Republican Party wants to do women a favor, why not rethink their position on the ERA? Of course, Sarah Palin probably thinks that's a real estate broker.
