A friend just completed a 4-minute YouTube video that I think you'll like — but unfortunately liking it is not enough. Lo acabo de leer, y con esto todo apunta a que los rumores relativos a Jackpot y a la cuenta a cero luego de la salida de JMS.... eran ciertos... lamentablemente, de ser asi, dejare de comprar Spiderman y solo seguire con Ultimate Spiderman, por mucho que hayamos esperado a Dan Slott o el regreso de Romita Jr. no es algo aceptable la chapuza que ira a hacer Quesada.

En unas semanas lo sabremos... en fin....

this article is full of the writer's own confident preception of what a perfect god is to be or not to be thereby making him a godlike since who can know such great things. After all, to judge someone, in this case God, you have to have a greater knowledge and authority than the one being judged. Perhaps an article titled " Why being the judge of a perfect god is impossible" needs to be written before people start worshiping that judge.

Obviously the poll results were self-selecting and so left out many listeners with sound musical and historical judgment... Seriously, though, this reminds me a bit of the blog post a while back that cited a survey in which the former Nirvana singer was the top rock hero of all time or somthing... clearly these polls reflect overly heavily a specific demographics' "here and now" or worse, the "now" of that demographics' formative years, and not a broader historical sense... It's sort of like asking a 12-year-old kid who's only been exposed to Friendly's and McDonalds what the greatest culinary invention of all time is. Would we be surprised if he said, "hamburgers"?

Saw it too, and loved it. (And I'm even older than you!) Enough so I was inclined to post about it as well. This movie was also my three-and-a-half-year-old son's first time sitting through a feature in the theater -- a real milestone!

Hey, thanks for the nod, Jen! And for the mention of the Banks event. I'm hoping to get to it. Also, I've never written a novel in three days, but I finished one in two weeks once. Not a very good one, but a bet's a bet! Of course that was before kids ... now I'd aim for two years and hope for the best. I'll leave the marathon speed noveling to the young and vigorous ... have at it Deus Ex.

Ahhh ... a 5K, I'm in. I find the 16 milers... well, a little looooong for my taste. Though I'm curious -- what are you thinking of as a moderate pace? What's an average (not a winning, but middle of the pack) pace for a 16 mile trail run? Maybe that'll help me imagine how I could (or could not) work up to one.

Good to know that's available on Netflix! Sorry to hear it was a drag. I would have been enticed by the premise -- I love to see a good debunking... but it's weak if the debunker attempts to debunk an entire concept by picking a straw man as representative of that concept.

Happy Birthday, you young'em. In just four short years you will be as old than Jesus was when he died for us. Another thing I noticed about Mary and her pregnancy was only Luke tells the story from her prespective. Mark and John don't include the pregnancy or the nativity, and Matthew tells it from Joseph's veiw. What comes across is how confident she was despite what was going on around her. The magnifcat was sung before Joseph found out, and her praise of God was not based on what others did but how she intergrated her life and faith together. I see this same faith in my expectant wife.
