You are exactly right. You've been able to drop files onto icons on the dock for a while now. However, you were limited on what would happen. Now you can actually place the information where you want it.

In the ftp example I gave, you can drop the file in a particular folder. In text edit you could drop a clipping in an exact position. etc...

I agree that if you use the service a lot you should pay for it; however, the techrx recipes regarding this topic work well. Changing IP, NIC/MAC tricks -- all of these work well for some people.

Another words, quit whining... or post a better hack.
