I can see a use for this product IF they could make it go to two computers. I have a laptop and a desktop PC, with the desktop's monitor to one side of my desk and the laptop directly in front of me. Juggling two mice and two keyboards can be a pain when I'm trying to set up the desktop with the laptop present, so it'd be really cool if I could use one mouse to connect to both and flip a button each time I turn my head to one side.

Not a huge market, certainly, but it is a neat technology. Of course the same effect could be replicated in software for anyone who has a mouse with more buttons than they use...

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » TomTom Celebrity Voice Directions

I know how my comment will apply to just about anything anyone does on the internet after 17 seasons, but... In a perfect world, it would be a direct extension of the Virtual Console, and I could shift my pre-N64 games onto the DS gratis once it's tied to my Wii store account. As for buying online directly through the DS, the requisite emulator/storage card should have enough space for a hardwired DS store browser & download system.

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Bright Blind Creates Fake Windows

Good idea, fairly simple (though not trivial or easy) to replicate with EL sheets or LEDs, but I have no idea how you'd run power to it without making it look fake as all get out.

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Potty Training Brick Makes Your Pooch Want To Pee

It probably smells like other dogs' urine.

Re: The reddit iPhone app (iReddit) is back with a vengeance

Wholly unrelated:

Whatever changes you guys just made to the markup regexes, you broke 'em. From the title and picture, I was hoping to see that someone built a tiny, tiny Engine in the spirit of ships in bottles and the internet-famous, scale-model Ferrari. A Curta would be more practical, but I love the thought of a real pocket Engine.
