I love it when people post the progress they are making in blogging in comparison to their goals for the month. Looks like you are doing well!

RSS is bogus... When I first learned about it, it was fantastic. The only problem is that if I am away from my reader for more than a couple days, things pile up so big that I can't make sense of anything. I have finally given up and just gone back to my normal habits of surfing.

Warren Buffet has some of the best quotes out there, and some pretty solid wisdom to back it up. The rule about never losing money - great rule, but hard to stick to all the time if you're betting in the short run.

I still use Zecco - never heard of this think or swim. do they offer free trades too.

While I am knowledgable about finance and accounting, I have never traded options before. I have heard that most options end up expiring and people lose money. Do you think this is an accurate POV? Where did you 'learn' about options trading, and where might I go to look up some info? Thanks

It seems to me that the general US economy is looking pretty bleak - along with a potential bubble building in china. I'm betting that the fed cut boost stocks temporarily and then shows a quick decline.

Might be a viable strategy.... but if this is such a powerful strategy - why is this guy trying to make millions selling books when he could be using his strategy to make more?

Very nice selection of investing articles. Getting started in the market can be tricky for a newbie. Heck, even for an experienced investor there are no guarantees. I suppose its always important to keep learning.

Boston terriers are nice little dogs. There are so many different breeds of dogs it is difficult to choose. I'm leaning towards a Puggle on my next one.

Wow, that is tremendous growth. My extremely conservative portfolio is only up about 7% in the same time period - thanks to a small stake in emerging markets and clean energy stocks. I regret selling some of the techs I had in my portfolio before they took off - oh well, win some lose some.

I'm a little iffy about the current state of the economy. It seems like the market is a little over enthusiastic about the fed rate cut, which doesn't appear to help the _real_ economy as much as they tout.

It really is chaotic to see the market behaving in such a wild fashion lately. I somewhat concerned about the hints of a recession coming - as the subprime may leak into the overall economy.

This looksl ike it might just be a really great opportunity if it goes viral. Is there an upward limit on how many squares you can purchase together? It seems like it might be a worthwhile strategy to buy a few of them up together to get a bigger advertising block.
