I know I shouldn't be working late at night, after a day of hard work. But as wine tasting is my job I cannot help to open a sample and just enjoy it. So, just about 2 hours ago I was tasting a great fresh 2007 Sauvignon Blanc called "show". It's a vino de la tierra sample from the DO Manchuela area. I drank the wine with a home made salad while I was watching Inspector Lewis. The sample was not labeled so I didn't send you a photo. Shouldn't be too hard to find some importers out there. Great wine, great price, oops I'm working again... sorry

I've visited 5 very interesting wineries in the area. Perez Barquero, Alvaear, Robles, Toro Albala, and Coop la Aurora.
Each of them had very interesting wines, and each of them had an own story. I realy would like to follow your advice and visit Torres Burgos and Bodegas Delgado as well. hope to post my comments on the bodegas i visited.
