There's something good about having a separate blog for the more "personal" posts, but whenever I try to draw that line, I end up getting confused. Why not go all out and have a separate feed per topic, even?

But really, when I mean "personal", I'm going to be applying it to something more useful for everyone. I don't intend to write any more of those... really thinly veiled metaphorical foolishness.

Yeah, about the greeness: I just blamed my iPhone camera, but looking at your high quality pics, it looks a bit more like it's the Kindle itself. Weird.

Really, I think any booklight would do. As long as you have the first party cover, so that you can clip the light to something.

I never found a solution to this issue... although, it's gotten faster with the new OS updates. It's still a little annoying, but it's not a showstopper for me.

Yeah, same here. I started poking around in rails to see how I could
fix it, but I gave up after gobs and gobs of time spent on it. I also

remember it working in 2.1, because I was working on another rails

project back then... but something must have changed with 2.2.

Did you try the gist that robby posted? I haven't had a chance to, but
it looks like it *may* work.



My solution was just to go MySQL and worry about integration with

PostgreSQL later, or maybe have that magic happen on the production

server, which has Ubuntu installed.

Yeah, I forgot to write about that. My hair is already starting to grow back, and when I put on a shirt or even try to try my head, it's as if my scalp is being sandpaper'd. It's kind of a pleasant and a not-so-pleasant feeling, rolled up into one.
