Jerome Oglesby is an IDIOT! If there is anyone out there who thinks he had anything to do with D Streets creation or the new version they need to think again. I doubt Jerome has had and type of innovative thought come out of his head his entire life. If you really want to know what kind of leader Jerome is ask to see Deloitte's internal service desk system and look at what has happened to customer service satisfaction in the last two years. Don't give him the opportunity to doctor the results either; because he will. He is the most two faced dishonest person I know. He couldn't make a decision on his own to save his life; he asks others to make it so if there is a problem he can point the finger at them. Deloitte really is classier then Jerome Oglesby!

I think the key is to get some new businesses in the area. Nobody wants to stroll down Main St and window shop for violins, cigars, insurance and Mediterranean groceries. Some of the stores are too specific and don't fit a more impulse consumer who is just taking a walk.

We need more shops like that.
This town also has a vintage looking 2 screen movie theater, museum, toy stores, pet stores, kitchen gadget stores, book stores, a sports accessory store, resturants & pubs. It's sandwiched by two hotels. They aren't obvious chain hotels like Ramada. They are off to the side and out of the way. None of them are chains. I don't want to go into a Sports Authority, but may step into a sports store I've never heard of.

It's a small town of less than 8,000 people and their Main St. is shorter than Nashua's. I grew up there and Main St. has always been busy. There are always a ton of people just walking the street in the summer. Most of them may be tourists, but the locals often go for walks and check things out.

Does this index account for the fact that Wal-Mart is no longer reporting monthly sales? It is a huge % of indexes when it is included, and since it's been showing sales growth, has tended to make the overall chain store sales numbers look better than the underlying constituent ex-WMT are doing.

You are forgetting one very important part here, Mr Pierce did not have a gun to these people to buy these homes. Would you go into a Ferrari Dealership and by a car you knew you could not afford, because the rate was low and every one else is doing it. Give me a break..enough already. Blame the realtors, they are the ones responsible for this mess along with world hunger. Granted there are some real pigs in this mess, like Mr Sucasa Century 21, He sought out hispanic people and conviced them to buy homes they could not afford, case in point....he held a first time home buyers seminar at Chevy's convinced a dish washer and three waiters they could buy a home in Eagle ridge in Gilroy 800K this rest is history. Before you vent your anger..please check your facts..I am a realtor and you have no idea what you are talking about. Bottom line.....the people who bought these homes thought they were going to get rich, and they knew exactly what they were doing. The realtors are not the problem here..its the greedy banks that approved these lier loans..it was the banks that did not check the credability of the buyers.. get informed before you spew your anger.....What about the people who did not go out and buy homes they could not afford.. and bought their homes maney years ago..now we are taking it in the rear too. My home value has sank due to this mess. I stayed with in my means..why should I pay for the stupiity of others.. Get informed..Sucasa is piece of verman trash..last I heard he is wahing windows for $8.00 per hour...I certianly hope so..frakin Pig.

That is the most stereotypical hedge fund portfolio I've ever seen. Long GOOG, MA, AAPL, and QCOM and short regional banks and REITs? That's like straight out of Goldman's quarter end Hedge Fund VIP list of the most popular hedge fund positions. I can't imagine how brutal its been on the short side. The banks are up what, 20% THIS week.

As with everyone else... This is a horrible list. Obviously you are younger and grew up with Final Fantasy X universe. Then jumped on the FF7 bandwagon, without ever really (most likely) playing the game itself. If you did you'd have up more FF7 characters. Including, Tifa, Aerith,Barret and Vincent.

Also, its a well known fact that since FF7 all the characters have become bland and mundane. They are all Teenage High schoolers who look for an adventure with a 'save the world' mentality.

Terra, Cecil, Locke, Sabin, Edgar, MOG!! Celes... The range of characters from older games is much more appealing as far as story is concerned. They weren't all "cookie cutter" characters.


Tidus is the absolute worst character, until they revealed VAAN lol. Like it was even possible to get more gay and more bland.

Hopefully the FFXIII universe will change their pursuit of 'mainstream' appeal and actually create a worthwhile cast of characters with a fitting story.
