in Amazon Associates stats for this blog on Futuristic Play by @Andrew_Chen
same here - this is why i removed ads. if you were a site on botany or something more general and were coming up in google for a hot term in front of the teeming masses, you will sell more because you are in front of a less tech savvy audience that clicks stuff and then buys.

Yes and no...the one thing is with your blog, there is the feeling of individuality - Twitter feels more to me like the water cooler of the internet.

in You can't do a good editing job without paper | Broadcasting Brain on Broadcasting Brain
Can't do it...my handwriting looks like a 4 year olds =)
I haven't written using pen and paper since I was in 4th or 5th grade - our school required laptops early on in life. I was smart enough to realize how much quicker I could nail essay tests and while all the other kids would write, I would sit there with my laptop, be able to organize and rearrange my thoughts quicker and more neatly than pen and paper.
I disgaree with you here, I type everything and could run circles around anyone with a pen and paper.

Could be a generational thing: laptops didn't appear on the horizon until at least five years after I graduated from high school...

in SEO Spammers Are Corrupting The Social Media Commons on AttentionMax
I've noticed this on my blog before...its hard to delete because sometimes there is a thin line...but you can tell quickly if they are legit or not by looking at the links back. IE - if their URL is some blatantly spammy e-commerce site, you know it's spam and can delete it.

in I Feel Like A Pepsi, But That’s All on Social Media Explorer
hey jason - did they ask for your address beforehand? did you know this was coming in the mail? i'm curious how they did this...

Yes, Adam, they did. Bonin and I met at Blog World Expo this year. He asked if I would be interested in something Pepsi was doing. I immediately told him I was probably the single-largest consumer of Diet Pepsi on the planet and would love to. He got my card, followed up with an email and then sent the package. There was no expectation for me to do anything, no ask to blog, etc. It was all quite surprise-and-delight oriented. Well done.

in Chase (or the decline of customer service) on Marketing
Yeah that's really annoying - there's no reason they shouldn't have made good with you, it's not like your some irresponsible person who racks up huge amounts of debt. You were definitely correct in posting this (and canceling with them).
Make sure to add a no-follow to the chase link in your post if you didn't, they don't deserve the free link.
