Thanks to everyone who contributed and attended to make this event such a success! We had 98 people over 3 hours, and nearly maxed out the sim! Great fun :-)

in Linden Lab commence survey on voice in Second Life on The Metaverse Journal
I did complete the LL survey, but its very simplistic with yes/no/not sure instead of proper scales, and no opportunity for free text. Not sure what they'll get out of this, but it won't be accurate and useful, that's for sure!

.. one more suggestion :-) it would be neat to have a "latest stories" link so we could browse the list of all recent stories - a bit like the home page was before. I know i can see that by choosing the current month from the Archives, but another link further up the front page would be great!

Check out the holodeck on SydSim.. find the phone boxes and red teleport buttons, then use the map to navigate views and teloport points.. very neat!

Looking great Lowell! Love the Related Sites with annotations, which are very helpful. I do wonder if the 'Australian perspective' could be added to the banner as a byline perhaps?

BTW, you may be interested to see the May 2007 issue of Vogue Australia, which by contrast has an interesting and intelligent article titled "A Life Less Ordinary" by Cathrin Schaer, including comments from Angela Thomas aka Anya Ixchel (see her blog at http://angelaathomas.com/)

The only lines of this article really worth reading are the ironic title and the last line "Wherever we go, there we are".
