I've shared this with you via Twitter once, but for the rest of you who have not seen this classic piece of BOA history...it's worth a look. Bono eat your heart out.

Uh...this just in...this is not an isolated event for Bank of America...

While I hate to see blogs become negative, this is the age of 2.0, for consumers to get a chance to speak their peace. It will be interesting to me to see how Bank of America handles this, Chris. You'll have to keep us in the loop.

Don't give up on her XAdrian.

Don't force it, but try to make a game of it with her would be my advice. Buy her a hockey jersey, explain the rules simply, etc. I'm not a big hockey fan myself, but it's more fun when you understand a little of what's going on.

in Why Pixelated is brilliant and wrong on Christopher S. Penn's Awaken Your Superhero
Blogging is all about conversation and I'd normally agree with your comments. In this case I can't for the simple reason that this project HAS helped me network, have interaction and could lead to collaboration. I'm a blogger wannabe with a 1 year blog that is an experiment in progress. But it's mine and I'm proud of its meager accomplishments. Along comes Chris Brogan's post via Mitch Joel via OnClick. The outcome of my post to my blog which I linked to Chris and Mitch's has provided me a nice spike on my blog, allowed me to converse with a few other folks on Twitter and has given me some ideas for other initiatives.
I do agree that face to face can never be replaced. But while I'm at my desk, gratefully working for a non-profit, this format is both cost efficent and innovative.
Thanks for the counterpoints on your post. Good stuff to discuss.

I like Rahaf's idea about compiling them all - at least if everyone comes back here with their list, we can all add to our blogs.

Chris - Loved the idea yesterday and got around to putting mine together in honor of you, Mitch and OnClick's idea. I hope to see many others put these together. Check mine out at http://jpickett1968.wordpress.com/2008/10/05/pi...

Chris and John:

Semantics aside, you guys are doing a bang-up job. You've got great chemistry on air and it's great listening to 2 guys who enjoy marketing and new media like I do. I hope to see you continuing to climb the charts and buying out Dunkin' Donuts one day...

I can't agree more with this post. I've been to far too many conversations and wanted to become a part but wasn't a member of the blog community, etc.

Thanks for posting. I'm a productivity junkie, but an unfocused one at that, so this is great info to add to my collection and fight the fight another day.

Great post, but I have to add that this is not just for freelancers. This applies to many of us creative professionals who simply need exterior action or motivation to break ourselves from a temporary trap we have put ourselves into.

Incidentally, I totally agree with the toothbrushing idea. Whether it's because you're taking a break, you're staring at yourself in the mirror and reflecting or the fresh mind that comes from the fresher breath this idea simply works.
