Ummm, Germany is NOT winning Figure Skating and sadly it is doubtful Germany ever will since their Gold in 1964 by Manfred Schelldorfer and a Silver by East Germany in 1980 by Jan Hoffmann. I will update later with today's event, but Germany is a strong contender for the Women's Team Pursuit Speed Skating.

Well, in fact Germany has been a major contender in the Winter Olympics. In Nagano, Germany won more gold medals than anyone else. In Salt Lake, they were one gold medal behind Norway. Either way, Germany is better than the US in the Winter Olympics.

After a little research and a little installing and playing around, yes it is compatible with MS Word. You can open documents saved in Word in OO and edit them. If you want to send the file to someone else, you will have to File >> Save As... to just about any document type (MS Word included) or you can even export them as PDFs if you don't want people to edit your document. Take note that if you use MS Outlook or Outlook Express, once you uninstall MS Office, those email programs won't be able to do any spell checking. My solution for that is to stop using Outlook and switch to Mozilla Thunderbird. So, there you go. Go to www.openoffice.org to download it.

The phone is so cool, I'm replying to your comment on my phone. The phone is 109mm(L) x 58mm(W) x 23.7mm(T) and weighs 160g with the 1250mAh Li-ion Polymer battery. Too much info, I'm sure, but I think some of you might want to know stuff like that. I think it's so damn cool I can pretty much do anything on the net with this phone as long as I have Wi-Fi access. I can use GPRS to do this, but it'll cost money to do that.

I can access via wifi (which I prefer to do) or through Cingular's GPRS network. The GPRS connection, I don't know if it's actual access to the true net like the wifi connection is as I don't let my phone access via the GPRS. Of course the reason for this is the $.01 per KB.

Yeah, I totally understand that. Good thing is that she has realized she was very self-centred. I personally never saw that very much, but I can definately see it. I guess it's just because I don't give as much of a shit as most people. I suppose that's why a lot of my old friends I don't have a lot of contact with anymore.
