Anyway - there was news that these sort of attacks had been planned today, but like most threats, I don't think anyone took it too seriously. Sadly it effected this event :( ...and Zayn did a fantastic job in combat today!

I used to be big into the AOL chat rooms back in the early 90s, that progressed to forums and podcast community chat rooms, then I ventured into Second Life and got hooked on the 3D aspects.
I find that it takes a lot more to hold my attention now and other than Twitter and Second Life, I am not faithful to any of my other networks - myspace, facebook, Ning...

As an Image Consultant for Purple Stripe Productions - I will help you get your Avatar up to par. It'll run you about $15 USD for skin, hair and a decent wardrobe. We might even be able to get you some toys. ;)

Anyway- It's all just 3D social networking...but I think it helps to have a tour guide who is passionate about the game and who knows how to have fun.

I see you traveling with an entourage...on your own tour bus of course...plastered with all those crazy pics you take and your name embedded in LED blinky lights either sided.
When the bus stops it will be swarmed by all your fans screaming your name and pulling out their hair as you descend wearing a black leather shirt, blinged out sun glasses, and a pair of black and red rock star boots...no pants....'cause a man of your importance simply can not be bothered with pants.

I'm not so sure I like the fact that you are encouraging people to say no...especially when it might be me who they are saying no to! Can you maybe put a clause in there that reads - say no, unless The Diva is asking, in which case the answer should always be Yes!

I wish I knew more ways to engage an audience. From a podcasting perspective alone we struggle to get the listeners to talk to us. It's at the point where we are no longer keeping a voice mail for messages. Twice now the free service has run out due to inactivity and ends up costing us $ to reprint business cards and time in changing the website and such. It's pretty frustrating.
