in Barack & Michelle Obama - AA Run Amok and Ingrate? on Jack and Jill Politics
TH is nothing more than a filthy racist website. But I try to go there as often as I can to put to bed any rumors about Barrack Obama, and to do battle with the sick racist filth that hide out there.
We really need to expose this site for THE RACIST HATE FILLED place that it is, and if possible bring it to the larger public's attention.
I'm there under this username taking a bat to those wingnut's as often as I can, but I would like a little help.
Thanks,

in Obama’s backers see ‘dream ticket’ as nightmare on Jack and Jill Politics
Thank you for articulating this issue so clearly. Obama needs to win or loose on his own merit. He doesn't need HRC to add anything to the ticket, because he has already proven that he can take the republicans best punch.
All Clinton brings to the ticket is trouble to a magnatude unknown. Why do you think Rush, Hannity, and Rove are shilling for her. Because they know they got the dirt to bring that b!@#$ down. Further, if Clinto supporters can't find it in themselves to support Obama then let them support the other candidate because they wern't democrats anyway. This issue with "White working class voters" is BULLSHIT!
America is not just hungry for change in the generic sense, but change that represents real character and real integrety. Where hungry for someone with conviction. Someone that not only has substance on the issues, but has a life of substance. A candidate who speaks truth to power, and that candidate is Obama.

in Big Media Finally Writes About What Black Folk Will Do If Clinton Steals The Nomination on Jack and Jill Politics
People need to understand that PROGRESSIVE does not mean DEMOCRAT. Teddy Rosevelt was a progressive within the republican party. [And left his party to form his own...]
Today progressive's may have found a voice inside the democratic party, but when the party know longer reflects the views of those who call themselve's progressive's...or excepts the will of those it represents then it's time to change party affilliation.

I'm voting republican if Hillary Clinton is given the nomination, and I incourage all black people in this country to do the same.
If Hillary should recieve the nomination [BECAUSE SHE HASN'T WON IT] the democratic party would be making it crystal clear through this whole primary process that they like republicans don't respect the peoples vote. But more importantly they don't respect my veiws or my vote.
SO TO HELL WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

in Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright at the National Press Club on Jack and Jill Politics
The lens from which black and white americans look through are two different lenses.
Most blacks veiw Wright as a MAN OF WISDOM, speaking truth to power. However to most whites, the image of Wright is more like a COURT JESTER. He speaks the same truth to power, but is viewed as a FOOL.
Now I don't pretend to know the motivations of the rev. But as a man of God I'm sure that Rev. Wright has read the book of ecclesiastes where it states;
3:1-22 " To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven."
Ggoing before the NPC was not the time nor the season for Wright to vent his frustrations with this country, or Obama.

To hell with the democratic party...I'm voting libertarian or any other party that's available.
This shit has got to stop, and until the democratic leaders, both black and white realize that african americans wont tolerate their bullshit things wont change.
I know the stakes are high this election cycle. George Bush has fucked shit up on every level. But what better time for black people to make it known loud and clear to the democratic party and this country that our vote wont be taken for granted.
I'M TIRED OF BEING TAKEN FOR GRANTED, AND I'M TIRED OF PLAYING THESE BULLSHIT GAMES! I'M THROUGH WITH SETTLING FOR THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR IN POLITICS. I WANT THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST THIS COUNTRY HAS TO OFFER AND IF I CAN'T HAVE THAT THEN FUCK'EM!

The fact that Americans would even consider replacing one liar with another just baffles me. I can’t figure it out. Are we that stupid in this country, or have we decided that it really doesn’t matter who's the POTUS.
When I see exit polls that show christians in PA voting for HRC overwhelmingly I want to cry. It's a damn shame and I'm really embarrassed to be part of the body of christ

in Pennsylvania - She Won..oh well, onto Indiana and North Carolina on Jack and Jill Politics
This article would have more credibility if the NYT had acknowledged their industries part in the negative turn of the primary. It was the media who pushed Rev Wright, William Ayers, and decided that guilt by association was a real issue…not the voters. Hillary has her faults indeed and I believe electing her would be wrong for the Democratic Party and this country. However, she simply capitalized on the Rev Wright issue but was not responsible for placing it at the center of the debate. That blame goes to corporate media. The reason the tone of the debate has turned so negative is because the media failed in its responsibility to focus the discussion on the issues that are important to Americans and this was a calculated decision

in ABC Has Lost Its Cotton-Pickin Mind / What Do We Do? (FCC REFORM!) on Jack and Jill Politics
I think ABC's attempt to paint Obama as some sort of 60's radical was dispicable. However, I don't their attempt will get much attention for several reasons.
First, most american outside of us political junkies didn't view the debate and those that did saw it for what it was...a hatchet job.
Second, outside of FAKE NEWS, most of the networks will be covering the Popes visit in it's entirety. Pennsilvania has a large catholic population and I suspect that they will be following the church events of this week.

in Open Thread: Compassion Forum on Jack and Jill Politics
If you really think about it Hillary Clinton is running as a Republican. She's even to right of McCain. I thought about this alot last night when I was watching the forum. Why would she criticize Gore and Kerry if she wasn't trying to destroy democracts chances in the fall.
However, Obama was quick to point out, and rightfully so that all she's doing is using republican talking points...he's finally pulled the mask off and shined a light on her bullshit.
Wake up folks!!!
The Clintons left the party a long time ago. They are not democrats and in my view never were. The party was nothing more than a vehicle for success. Niether Bill or Hillary belive in the principles of the party, and never did...but many in the party have been decieved.
Make no mistake, the Clintons intend on destroying the democratic party before they go.

Cambell Brown is an idiot,as rikyrah noted...(just a pretty face with no substance). But I don't think this forum would have been possible if CNN didn't agree to having a lightwieght as host. Clinton, would have found some excuse for not showing.
BTW, who at CNN is worth a damn anyway outside of Larry King and Soledad O'Brian?
Bottom line...CNN would have done much better if Soledad O'Brien had moderated the discussion.

in HAAAA HAAAA: Hillary "Loans" Self $5M; Obama Gets $6M From The People In 24 Hours on Jack and Jill Politics
ATTENTION!!!!!!!
People please stay focused on this super delegate issue. As most of you know, super delegates can override the popular vote of their constituency. Many of the super delegates are members of the congressional black caucus, and most support Clinton. That being said, Obama enjoys the overwhelming support of African Americans as evidence of his wins in South Carolina and Missouri. In my view it would be criminal if those super delegates within the cbc went against the popular will of those they represent. So stay on top of this issue and let your representive know that your watching.

I read the Susan Eisenhower endorsement yesterday and although it didn't recieve as much play as JFK's daughter, it was very inspirational.
Today there's another encouraging article in the was. post by Peter Wehner titled; "Why Republicans Like Obama". It should be noted that Wehner is currently a Bush cabinate member.

I'm certainly not falling for it.
I said yesterday that as much as I dislike Rudy Giuliani, I will support a McCain/Giuliani ticket before voting for Hillary in any combination. If she's the nominee, or even the vp which I doubt...I'll vote republican.
Americans need to ask themselves how effective would her administration, or anyone elses be with Bill running around the whitehouse overshadowing and second geussing those in charge of shaping policy.

in Can Anyone See The United States Reacting This Way To Slavery? on Jack and Jill Politics
No, not as long as you have candidates like Ron Paul claiming that 600,000 white deaths were not worth freeing four million slaves.
"You buy the slaves and release them. How much would that cost compared to killing 600,000 Americans and where it lingered for 100 years?"
If it was merely a matter of purchasing, how does he account for the hundred years of systematic racism that followed.

in SF Chronicle Endorses Obama (video included) on Jack and Jill Politics
I said this yesterday over at FN, every endorsement Obama gets is like "death by a thousand cuts" to the Clinton campaign. The democratic establisment with the exception of Madalyn Albright, Wesley Clark, and Charley Rangel are beginning to line up behind Obama.
This is a total rejection of the Clinton years and the Clinton tactics in this recent election.
My guess is that if this trend continues...by friday HRC's national lead will have evaporated.

in A Letter to Sen. Ted Kennedy from a Native American Voter on Jack and Jill Politics
Its official, Sen. Kennedy has endorsed Obama. The endorsement speech should come later today. This is big; real big…because it puts back into play the democratic base, all those working class, blue collar voters who support HRC. It could potentially shift them away form the Clinton camp into the Obama camp.

in Obama Ba-Rocks Clinton Out of South Carolina 55-27-18 on Jack and Jill Politics
Actually I was hoping that Bill would stay out on the campaign trail, because as long as he's talking voters are reminded of why they don't want the Clintons.
Both Clintons are polarizing, partisan figures who just by their very nature of lies and deceit force people into the uncomfortable decision of making choices they don't like to make.
Americans want to fall in love with a candidate, we want to respect and admire those that are running for the presidency…and that in my view is what's missing with them.
It's always “us verses them politics” with the Clintons...and that can be very tiring. People are tiered of providing cover for their destructive brand of politics. Their tiered of the race baiting and code words that only serves to devide Americans along racial lines, and I sense they really want a change.
