In fact, reading between the lines, I get a sense he or she is making fun at meth heads who think they get some beneficial attribute from the drug. Re: the comment "I can also explain you how the universe works or how to fix society. Nice huh?"

As to the argument about meth being anything close to "natural," as a former user I can attest to the fact that the taste and smell of it demonstrate otherwise. Even tweaked out, I would ask myself, "WHy in the hell are you putting this poison in your body?" It seemed ludicrous even at the time.

I am so glad I somehow have overcome this nightmare that is tina. And I can still rub my two brain cells together and come out ok, and even hold a great job, stay in a committed partnership, and find new non-drug-related interests.

Re: Scott Cheever: Meth Sentence

The stupendously wonderful thing about your web site, Chick, is how easily the evidence mounts up when one reads post after post on here.

The message is always the same: meth turns users into their worst selves. Whatever dark traits you carry (and we all have something, being human), meth will bring it to the forefront.

And meth goes a step further, like the true demon it is, and creates sick and twisted thoughts that lead you to carry out behaviors you never could imagine. This blog testifies to that. I am so glad you are out here, showing the user what he or she is doing, and the nightmarish club methheads belong to.

Re: Meth Poem: The Person I Once Knew

Meth users are single-minded, barely conscious of their own thoughts, much less the desires and wishes of others. This poem captures that tragedy quite well.
